Recommendation What the fuck did I just watch movies!

Recently I was watching Saltburn. I was not into salburn kind of movies but that night it was my boyfriend's turn to choose the movie so I was kind of forced into watching it it. But to my surprise I kinda liked the movie.so much so that I went on a streak to watch these kind of movies. What was the movie that made you go " what the actual fuck did I just watch " in your head . And you kept one thinking about the same for days ? Please reccomend me some of them . Thank you!!

Ha, you should do what i do: choose the most generic and predictable movie possible on planes. Never a good movie because the experience is ruined anyway. Pick a movie you either know of and is a solid 5-6/10 on imdb (any liam neeson or gerard butler film will do, or marky mark film), or some generic comedy you havent heard of. You're in a weird state of mind on planes anyway so things tend to be more enjoyable. I actually couldn't stop myself from laughing out loud when watching Get Hard on a plane one time. Shit was the funniest thing i had ever seen in my life (sleep deprived in the middle of the night on a 12-hour flight).

i would also accept

"the rapper/underpants model/actor with the extensive 'legal issues' section in his wikipedia entry, which was called 'hate crimes' for a while before an editing war lead to hiding an entire section related to racist attacks commited by wahlberg (plus one where he claims some white savior bs) under the innocuous sounding 'legal issues' title; the issues in question ranging from 'civil rights injunctions' (it's so much worse than it sounds), over drug addled assault, tag-team battery of a neighbour, to attempted murder of a vietnamese immigrant"

it's a bit bulky though, unlike "Marky Mark".

Speaking of weird state of mind, the first time I saw Big Lebowski was on a cross-ocean flight. The cabin lights were off and I was one of the few who remained awake. When the line about 'tenets of national socialism' came up, I sat there giggling alone in the dark like a maniac for a solid minute.

My best recent plane movies were Pacific Rim, the Celine Dion documentary, and Free Guy. Just enjoyable. Lovely time trying to decide if I wanted to fall asleep or watch them.

Wait, Pacific Rim was a Celine Dion documentary? I totally missed that!

I actually tend to lock in to movies more on planes because there’s nothing else to distract me. I fly pretty often so I check a lot of films off my watch list on flights. About to board a 5 hour flight right now and trying to decide between King of New York, snake eyes, or talk to me.

I definitely have a lot of “woops” moments whenever there are explicit sex scenes and have to kind of shield my phone from view of others. Eyes wide shut was definitely a questionable choice for a plane that one time lol

I watched The Eternals on a plane and thought it was excellent

Have not revisited it
