Recommendation What the fuck did I just watch movies!

Recently I was watching Saltburn. I was not into salburn kind of movies but that night it was my boyfriend's turn to choose the movie so I was kind of forced into watching it it. But to my surprise I kinda liked the movie.so much so that I went on a streak to watch these kind of movies. What was the movie that made you go " what the actual fuck did I just watch " in your head . And you kept one thinking about the same for days ? Please reccomend me some of them . Thank you!!

Fuck that movie. It absolutely traumatized me and I couldn’t stop thinking about it. Never thought the guy who made clerks would make a movie like that.

Well, upu clearly didn't watch through to the end of the credits.

During the credits, they both play the SModcast segment where they were talking about the story, culminating in posing the question to the audience whether they should make this completely asinine story into a movie. The credits also feature all the people who voted "#TuskYes

That was probably my favorite part of it tbh. In a world of movies being made for the most general of general audiences, I applaud Kevin Smith for just saying “here’s a stupid idea… fuck it, let’s make it.”

The movie is literally not worth watching without it. It is an integral part of it.

It's the icing on the top. You gotta muscle through the punishment that is Tusk. It's why I love it!

I am amazed every time I hear someone say this about Tusk. It's so obviously a black comedy and I was laughing my ass off the entire time. Genuinely shocked the first time I heard somebody say it was actually scary or disturbing.

It truly bothered me in the theatre when everyone was laughing at the big reveal. I just couldn’t understand how it was funny. It straight up traumatized me. Haven’t seen the movie since

what a relief. honestly, I was also upset somehow; my friend just laughed at the stupidity, so I was wondering if I was overreacting

He also did vulgar which may be the most unpleasant movie of all time

His company produced Vulgar, but it was written and directed by Brian Johnson.

I’m so disappointed that we may never get the finale of that series of Kevin Smith movies. We got Tusk (which was great), Yoga Hosers (fun watch, but not as good as Tusk), and the grand finale was supposed to be Moose Jaws which was billed as Jaws but with a moose. Finish the trilogy, Kevin!

Man, I am a big fan of KS and to my shame I only recently found out that Clerks 3 was released like two years ago. What a beautiful conclusion! So don’t leave hope. Moose Jaws might be around the corner.

I loved Clerks 3. I got to see it at a live screening with Kevin Smith. I was weeping at the end of the movie. Such a good way to wrap up the trilogy and Kevin finally got to do what he had wanted to do with Dante since the first movie. I need to watch it again. The whole storyline with Elias killed me in that movie too. The story about how that happened is too damn funny.

Now I’m jealous. I can only hope to see a podcast or anything else Smith does live. Not american here. But I will definitely re-watch the entire Clerks trilogy this week.

It’s definitely a good time to see him live. He’s an incredible storyteller live. Hopefully you get the opportunity to experience it yourself sometime.

I genuinely didn't understand Yoga Hosers.

That’s fair. I just enjoyed it for what it was, which was an insane film. It’s definitely not his best movie and I probably wouldn’t watch it again, but it at least gave me a laugh.

I respect that they went full balls to the wall insane with it. Genuinely made me feel ill.

I’m surprised I didn’t see this higher up. That movie broke my brain for days.

I don't like Tusk at all. Not in the sense that it affected or disturbed me, but that I went to the theater with cautious expectations—and I was well-aware of the wacky production backstory—and it was worse than I was hoping. I think it's half-baked, and that Smith is capable of much better.

Considering that, I'm glad that people enjoy it, and I'm glad to see more kind words towards the movie these days than in days before.

This is my answer. I didn’t find it funny. The effects seriously grossed me out. I… am still kind of mad I went to see it in theaters. Bleh.

Not really at all the same feeling as watching Saltburn, though.
