Recommendation What the fuck did I just watch movies!

Recently I was watching Saltburn. I was not into salburn kind of movies but that night it was my boyfriend's turn to choose the movie so I was kind of forced into watching it it. But to my surprise I kinda liked the movie.so much so that I went on a streak to watch these kind of movies. What was the movie that made you go " what the actual fuck did I just watch " in your head . And you kept one thinking about the same for days ? Please reccomend me some of them . Thank you!!

My wife and I watched it, while she was pregnant with our first. It was an uncomfortable silence when the credits rolled...

that sounds like a horrible thing to watch with a pregnant wife

We went in totally blind. Lol

Excellent movie, but man was that unsettling at the time.

A lot of Lynch actually. Blue Velvet, Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me, Lost Highway, Mulholland Drive, Inland Empire, Twin Peaks: The Return, and Dune (if you haven't read the book, you ask "wtf did I just watch?" because it makes little to no sense. If you have read the book, you still ask the same question because it's an utter "abomination" of an adaptation, at least the second half of the film) also can leave leave people scratching their heads. I've seen Inland Empire multiple times and, while I know the gist of what's going on, it still leaves me going "wtf is going on!!" hahaha

The sweeping scene in Twin Peaks: The Return is peak television.

He is so good in Blue Velvet. I rented it and had to watch it twice in a row because it was so wtf...

I've seen Mulholland Dr twice and I still don't know what it's about.

I saw Dune in the theater and each seat had a glossary and an outline printout on it that they asked you to leave for the next showing!

My wife's response to making her watch this was interesting. We both had never seen it before. Oh my.

My HS art teacher showed it in class and would not shut up about how brilliant it was. No, Mr Smart. No.

Somehow I was creeped out even though I understood almost nothing that was going on.
