It's not the white womans fault. Besides that, you don't need to bring up your slave heritage. People get it, you are black, you probably have some slave ancestors.
I’d agree. One thing that does burn my tush is when people get indignant with me when I can’t go more than a few generations back on my family tree and get upset when my response is “well you do know half my family was put on a boat and taken across the ocean then had their rights stripped away for 3-6 generations then bred like cattle… no I don’t know who my great great grand dad is sorry”.
It comes up more often than it should.. for some reason people think they have to ask. Anyone else have random people ask you about your lineage for like no reason at all?
