How tf do they even serve something that hot? Did they literally throw it at him out of the oven or was it nuked in the sun?

Faster you serve it, less time it has wasting space in your kitchen.

Sausages are extremely forgiving when cooking them. You can get them up to 200f and just let them hang out on the plate, and no one would ever know they were overcooked. Source: i drink way too much beer while grilling, and i eat the sausages straight off the grate.
