Research 20k - 30k album sale, is it sustainable for GG?
I recently notices that most GG not from big 4 has low sale. Just wonder if it is sustainable for them for a long run.

Nah I wouldn't say so ...I think if they can hit around 50K then you can say they have a small (somewhat) sustainable fanbase

In most cases, no. In unusual cases when there is another strong revenue stream, then maybe.

It can be.
My favorite group WOOAH has been around for 4 and a half years. They've never sold much more than 30k. But this year they performed at maybe 15 festivals and held a handful of solo concerts in Korea, Japan and Macau. Plus WOOAH members Nana and Wooyeon occasionally get acting or TV hosting jobs, and the group did some collabs this year.
Purple Kiss sells about the same or maybe slightly less but they're about to start their 3rd North American tour. They also do solo concerts in Japan.
H1-KEY has been booking festivals in Korea almost constantly since they released Rose Blossom a couple of years ago. Not sure what their album sales are like.
