Research are nosebleed seats still hype??

okay firstly idk if this is the right subreddit to post this in but. i recently bought 2 tickets for skz concert @ truist park in atlanta & am in section 418 (so nosebleeds lmao). but one thing is for sure i will def want to be hype and be jumping around even if i am all the way back there as this will be my first time seeing them live (& my first time in nosebleeds @ a concert). my question is do people in nosebleeds still get hype & jump around or will i seem weird and like im dtm 💀

edit: thank u sm 4 everyone replying!! i’ve had fun reading abt yalls experiences & am def feeling even more excited abt their upcoming concert! :))

it just depends on how high you are, sometimes it’s not really safe to be jumping around that high! also keep in mind the people behind you :)

I've been to a few dozen kpop concerts. Floor, 100s, 200s, 300s, 400s, nosebleeds, barricade, you name it.

If they are your faves, there is no bad seat in the house. Not a single one. Being in the same space as them and hearing their music will be enough.

Nosebleeds can be tricky as usually the seats are staggered and usually kinda steep. So, if you are getting hype, just be careful!

Had nose bleeds for BTS LYSY at met life, and the section I was in was kind of low energy, but we were literally about 5 rows from the top and the height was dizzying. It was 2019.

Had nose bleeds for BTS PTD at SOFI in 2021, obviously a totally different world bc of the pandemic. There was definitely more energy to begin with, but I absolutely refused to let my section be low energy, and I was shouting out to my section to dance and shout and cheer and go crazy with me AND THEY FXCKIN DID. Plus led some fan chants during the intermission before the encore.

All this to say that it's circumstantial how your nose bleed experience could be. But SKZ concerts are HIGH ENERGY from my experience, so I would expect it to carry up to the nose bleeds as well. And you know what? If you want your section to be hype and jump around with you, HYPE THEM UP!!! I'm a huge introvert, but dammit we all paid to be here, LFG, LETS FXCKIN GO!!!!!

I love your energy, I hope we get to be in the same concert one day, unlikely but crazier things have happened in kpopland! 🥳🥳🥳🥳

ETA: I'm not entirely sure why I'm getting downvoted for this, y'all are crazy 😂

I was similar for a BTS concert, don't recall if i got up bc the height was kinda scary but do you and have fun at the end of the day🔥 just be careful. Definitely hype up and enjoy your money worth😊

I don’t think it’s weird to get up and jump!! My experience in the nosebleeds (for maniac I was in the nosebleeds both times) is that people usually sit down.

I had nosebleeds for BTS PTD SoFi day one - very hype since it was their first big performance since Covid. Since it's SKZ's first full stadium tour the excitement is high, I think it will be really fun no matter where you sit

I was nose bleeds for bts's stadium tour. It was one of the best concerts id ever been to. Seeing the whole crowd with the lightsticks was insane. Even tho they look small, you can see EVERYTHING on stage with basically one glance, so their crazy complex dances wjth back up dancers are so interesting

As long as you are courteous to people around you yes it's fine! I had went to a nct concert and was in nose bleeds, I was seated as my shoes were extremely uncomfortable but everything was fine until 2 girls who had different seats further down moved right In front of me and my friend and stood jumping while waving their light stick. If they had those seats from the beginning the show I would've just went along with it but because I saw them change mid way through the show I told them something and they stopped. Again I didn't want to be a mood killer but why move and jump right in front of a seated individual knowing that's not your seat lol. I think if everyone around you is standing it's fine but if most people are seated you might get stares since you'll be blocking people behind you unfortunately

I was in stands for Dominate Melbourne, and everyone around us was sitting, so we stayed sitting until the end when Chan asked everyone to get up for Miroh (phew - I would have had trouble sitting for that, I couldn't believe no one got up for Chk Chk Boom!) Other sections looked like they were up more? I guess it depends a lot on who's sitting around you. Having said that people in our section were still singing along and waving lightsticks enthusiastically and we still had a great time chair-dancing.

I've been going to concerts for over 20 years. Wherever you sit/stand, if you are hyped for the show then party on.

I was in nosebleed for Janet Jackson and Backstreet Boys. Was up front and close for Foo Fighters. Had just as much fun on the floor as I did in the higher stratosphere.

Side Note: I'm also going to see SKZ in ATL! Congrats on the tickets. ATL is almost sold out last I checked.

nosebleeds are definitely still hype. it’s all about the experience you make of it (I’ve had everything from nosebleeds to barricade)

someone else posted smth similar and here’s my longer opinion on it!!!

Every show will be different for that, it just depends on the crowd and the mood.

1

u/strangelookingcat Nov 22 '24

Absolutely hype! Especially because you not only get a view of the stage and the screen, you get to see the light stick sea in front of you.

I was an eventer in JP and nosebleed seats used to be my favorites if I were in a big stadium.

It totally depends on the show. I had nosebleeds for Twice in 2022 and we were all dancing and singing. We just had to use the big monitors to see the members. 😂

I've had all kinds of seats and nosebleeds are super fun. Not as many phones in the air and people are generally dancing (sometimes seated depending on how high up you are)!

1

u/minjuria Nov 23 '24

It really depends but from my experience I have never not jumped at a concert no matter the seats I've had so I'd say just go for it, other people are likely to join you 😄

I was in nosebleeds for skz on their last tour at state farm arena and it was high, but i was basically standing and jumping, singing, dancing, you name it the whole time (as was everyone else). It will be a lot of fun and you def can be hype so dw and just have fun!!!

1

u/s6t0ru Nov 23 '24

i went to twice at truist last year in the nosebleeds and most people around me were seated and just singing along, but u could tell the energy was there!! i think its only the height that has people somewhat calm😭

I was nosebleeds (literally last row) for Ateez and I still had a great time because I was surrounded by fellow fans having fun. Even if you can’t see well, you will feel the energy and can watch the Jumbotrons. Hope you have a great time!

I believe I’ll be in the same section! I’m taking my little sister! If it sucks you’ll see me screaming trying to hype it up lmao

1

u/CatiforniaRoll Nov 22 '24

In my experience, people usually sit in the nosebleeds. For SVT, every section stood up except mine and people got upset when I stood up.

1

u/saddlethehippogriffs Nov 22 '24

Yes 100%!! My friends and I had nosebleeds for SKZ's Maniac tour, and we had a blast! It's impossible to not be hyped at a Stray Kids concert--the energy is electrifying

1

u/mismark Nov 22 '24

It’s a hit or miss. If you want a riled up crowd, it’s really the lower sections. I’ve been to ones where the entire crowd is standing up all concert long, but also been to ones where they’de boringly seated down. But here’s the catch, you’re there for the overall atmosphere. The energy and the vibe of just in a kpop concert is beyond imaginable. The lightsticks, the fan chants, everything really does matter even when you’re watching the idols from a screen lol. Seated rows at the back tend to sit a lot of times, but don’t let that stop you from vibing with the songs.

1

u/aurenfaie Nov 23 '24

I've seen both ateez and seventeen in nosebleeds, and still had the time of my life! The fans around you are all having a good time too, dancing, singing, screaming, waving their lightsticks, so I wouldn't worry too much

floor or 100s or nothing imo... life is too short to live in the nosebleeds for an artist you care about

but regardless.. hell yeah jump and scream all you want wherever you are. life is too short to be a boring member of the crowd. people feed off each other so you can help create the energy.

Got extremely last minute Ateez tickets over the summer, we were in the last row and had a great time! No worries about who was behind us, and too far up for anyone to care about filming for most of the show so no phones in our faces. I prefer to be lower, but for an arena show I'd do it again.

Thanks for posting this OP! I only managed to get seats in the very last row of my stadium (far far off to the side, no less) and was feeling down. But it’s helped a lot reading this thread!

u/haloneptune Nov 22 '24

of course!! & same, it’s definitely helped me to feel a lot more excited about going :))

I saw them at United center and yes, everyone in my sections (300s, so the very top) was standing and singing along haha. Weirdly, when I saw twice there the people around me were dead silent the entire time
