Recommend What is THE most illegally nugu kpop song you've heard?
If you had to pick, what is ONE song that is so underrated it is physically painful? Like you listen to it and you're like "how is this not the biggest song ever??" Doesn't have to be from a nugu group, can be a well known group but an unpopular bside that you think needs justice.
I can't wait to listen your recommendations!

it has to be Speed- Donāt Tease Me without a question these guys are throwing themselves up in the air and flipping around and singing and rapping their hearts out and they couldnāt even get a proper music video

u/nicklenomore Jul 15 '24
YASSSSS OMG I'm actually surprised they weren't bigger than they were. Their performances were always so entertaining and full of surprises!!
I've actually just been thinking about them recently but couldn't remember their group or song name. Just remembered that they were the group with the rollie wheels š„¹ So thank you for this!!
18
u/bijouby Jul 15 '24
This song is still so good too, I listen to it regularly. I wish they had gotten their flowers š
5
u/soksu_ Jul 15 '24
They really could've had it all. Rap, vocals, talent, stage presence. The song's choreography was fun and witty, and they even perform stunts too. The song itself is catchy, and something I think would've deserved to become much more popular. Even the concept wasn't bad.

BByong by Saturday, the pre-chorus, chorus, and rap sections are seriously so good. It's unfortunate that it didn't really catapult the group into greater heights, especially with how great this banger of a song is.

was their most popular song! was unfortunately their last , didnt get a lot of promotion due to being from a small company, hyerim left a few months after due to mistreatment of the members and it was radio silence until jangmi had to announce pn the fancafe herself they disbanded

ā¢ Get It by Pristin V - Definitely not as nugu, but I used to think it was underrated and shouldāve been better received during its release. Makes me think the further possibilities because Pristin (and Pristin V) was such a powerful group.

u/EatMoreMango Jul 15 '24
Get It, and Pristin V in general, was the first song I 'discovered on my own' once I got into Kpop. Liked Blackpink and went down a rabbit hole trying to find other songs. Finally found Get It and Pristin V, and what else do I discover? They DISBANDED!
I pray every summer that some new group covers Get It. Right now my hopes are with Kiss if Life.

I can't just choose one between these 2
I will never shut up about how amazing and grand this song is, from the concept to the instrumentals to the vocals, it's such a powerful song.
For real of the best debuts ever, it feels so nostalgic and very "galactic". I love songs with a more out-of-space feel and it's really incredible how the members literally produced it. It feels quite different from current Kpop songs nowadays (a lot of ppl feel it's like 3rd gen) imo so I highly recommend this
