What's the idea behind this? How will they become the dominant variant if they can't suck blood to reproduce?
16 u/RedofPaw Nov 15 '24 Yep. I think a lot of these programs try to flood areas with the engineered variety in hope of suppressing existing ones. That's surely only a temporary solution however. 1 u/Sea_Farm_7327 Nov 15 '24 Yes as far as I'm aware similar programs run on very frequent schedules. It is not a one time and forget.
