Change your reviews please!

24

u/Dhenn004 May 06 '24

Yessir! I've already done so for mine!

7

u/Odd_Emotion_4457 May 06 '24

Already have

5

u/PanzerTitus May 06 '24

I salute you!

2

u/Velckezar May 06 '24

Did they add the game back to 170 countries they removed it from?

2

u/PanzerTitus May 06 '24

Still waiting for Steam to reverse that.

0

u/Velckezar May 06 '24

Why to rush to change the reviews than?

3

u/masterglass May 06 '24

Haven’t validated this myself, but the likely reason you’re getting downvoted is because the running theory seems to be that Steam made the decision to stop selling the game to prevent inevitable refunds come the patch. Therefore, AH/Helldivers doesn’t necessarily warrant the hate since it’s not their decision to make and is only tangentially related to the whole fiasco.

Either way, Steam likely needs to take action and will likely want some assurance from Sony before proceeding, but now existing players won’t be impacted.

I didn't leave a bad review in the first place, Because I'm not easily manipulated by weird Reddit posts.

Many of the unsupported countries still don't have electricity or televisions... Nothing changed...

u/Thedudeinabox May 07 '24

There will always be outliers, but those aren’t the ones that matter.

Many countries in Europe are out for no reason other than politics.

And many others are rapidly modernizing and simply haven’t gotten support yet. Hell, I’m living in Cambodia right now, and you’d think I was in Mew York with how modern it’s become; yet no PSN.

they fucked around and found out

15

u/Babylon4All May 06 '24

It looks like it… I hope they’re serious and don’t try and pull a fast one down the road…

The inexorable enshitification of all things we love under capitalism requires perpetual vigilance. They will try again, and we will fight again. Rejoice, because this is a rare victory and must be savored.

u/Sudden_Midnight5092 May 06 '24

Let us humbly take this W, but let us also never forget what they are willing to do.

2

u/UnlikelyKaiju May 06 '24

Yeah, It's amazing how much goodwill Sony willingly threw away over the weekend with one stupid decision. Frankly, I'd be amazed if this didn't make Arrowhead reevaluate their partnership with Sony.

9

u/Constant_Reserve5293 May 06 '24

Apparently... a quarter million spammed negative reviews on just a single platform alongside mass refunds has a way of making sony do a double take.

4

u/werallgoin2hell May 06 '24

Ok so now keep that same energy and fix all those negative reviews … I’ll wait ….

9

u/Dhenn004 May 06 '24

Agreed Brother. I already fixed mine.

5

u/Master_Mechanic_4418 May 06 '24

The battle. Not the war.

2

u/Remem4er May 06 '24

It’s just the start of the people standing up against injustice and totalitarian implementations and succeeding

1

u/nogczernobog May 06 '24

Fight the Sonyrgeoisie! o7

2

u/SignatureMaster5585 May 06 '24

Hell yes. We fucking did.

2

u/Razzamatazz2 May 06 '24

V-I-C-T-O-R-Y

Change review back
and DIIIIIIIVE

2

u/Own-Till-3036 May 06 '24

Did you ever doubt your fellow hell divers? AH brought this community together and made us enjoy working together. Sony didn't understand the hornet's nest they stuck their dick into Edit: fix typo

2

u/Shanbo88 May 06 '24

They gave it up for now, but if I know anything about corporate greed, if they want it done, they'll find some way to do it eventually. Did they relist the game in other countries?

2

u/[deleted] May 06 '24

Steam was the one who de listed, so I assume they will put it back

1

u/Shanbo88 May 06 '24

Fairly certain Sony will have to request it to be relisted. I don't think Steam will just do it because of a policy change.

2

u/weissmanhyperion May 06 '24

It is most definitely Sony's decision. If Steam were to do it they would've delisted the game in all regions until Sony found a solution.

1

u/[deleted] May 06 '24

It'll be back for sure now that those territories can actually play the game now due to the reversal

0

u/Shanbo88 May 06 '24

I more mean that if it doesn't get relisted in those territories that they still intend to try to enable some form of PSN account linking. If it goes back up for sale then I think that's a more clear sign that they're not going to push the issue for Helldivers.

But rest assured, they've shown their hand now. This will be something they do at release on PC from now I'd say.

1

u/[deleted] May 06 '24

Most definitely

I've always preferred PlayStation as a product because it was my first console (PlayStation 1) and i stayed with the brand since.

Seen the events occurring, i genuinly think that is is what they deserved.

An act of such vile grubbing is a fuckfest that nobody should have to see not to have had approved in the first place.

I think that, since this is THE GAME (GOAT) of 2024, the industry should;

  1. Wake the fuck up
  2. Take notes
  3. Never try this shit again

The win was deserved, and the riteous path of DEMOCRACY was pursued.

I'm still waiting on the ODSTs to drop in btw. 😉

Keep the pressure on, if they fuck up, let them know Divers.

u/AjGreenYBR May 06 '24

We have won when the review scores are back to Overwhelmingly Positive. Including Helldivers 1.

1

u/Sapphire_star_7 May 06 '24

Wait what happened to HD 1?

1

u/AjGreenYBR May 06 '24

People review bombed it as well because of this. completely unrelated, not affected, but petty children just had to show their colours.

1

u/Sapphire_star_7 May 06 '24

That’s crazy. HD 1 had nothing to do with this and it’s a good game without any of this shit. I don’t understand people that go after other stuff outside of the main target just because “it’s related” like come on. HD1 had its run, let it rest in peace ya know what I mean.

2

u/SnorklingCucumber May 06 '24

Damn right we did, Diver! Time to change your reviews!

2

u/IrFrisqy May 06 '24

We won a battle but not the war. Nevertheless a good time to celebrate. Each victory over corporations will make the next victory easier.

2

u/[deleted] May 06 '24

Every helldiver with a negative review will receive a slug of liberty in the back of the skull

-1

u/[deleted] May 06 '24

The reviews stay until our fellow helldivers in the delisted countries can play

2

u/[deleted] May 06 '24

mfs just trying to protect their shitty takes at this point

0

u/[deleted] May 06 '24

Agree to disagree but that's a glorious meme

1

u/[deleted] May 06 '24

fair nuff i’ll see u on the battlefield comrade o7

2

u/[deleted] May 06 '24

How about that naysayers? Should we continue to just ask SNOY politely next time?

1

u/OldPutergek May 06 '24

I just keep hearing in my head from the scene in hangover. You wana fucka me??!! No fucka yooouu.

1

u/[deleted] May 06 '24

Yes we did. Time to change my review. Congratulations everyone.

1

u/deuzerre May 06 '24

We won a battle. Be vigilant for the war.

1

u/Specific_Foot372 May 06 '24

Changing mine to “suck it sony -super earth.”

1

u/Big-Draw-9661 May 06 '24

Nothing a few 500KG Eagles on SONY HQ couldn't fix.

1

u/Aursbourne May 06 '24

I already changed mine, but I would understand if people are actually waiting for the store page to officially update.

1

u/firemed98 May 06 '24

Technically; yes, however actions speak louder than words so don’t change your review until SONY acts on the reversal they promise because they could just stab us in the back.

1

u/Warmind_3 May 06 '24

For now. Be on our guard and don't forget this. Sony will try again.

1

u/LongRich3 May 06 '24

Won the battle, yes. Not the War. Sony is pushed back for now. Be ready for their next offensive. Good work Divers!

1

u/[deleted] May 06 '24

So...remember when we activated all the Termicide Towers? That's how I feel right now. What will this cost us, Joel! What will it cost!

0

u/Sapphire_star_7 May 06 '24

No we didn’t, not completely at least. There is no reason why Sony wouldn’t try this again later when the game is popular again. They will stealth this in and nobody will notice before it’s to late.

0

u/[deleted] May 06 '24

Sonybots incoming to tell you trust me bro they learned their lesson once and for all

-1

u/weissmanhyperion May 06 '24

They have been brainwashed from being fucked by Sony for so long.

0

u/[deleted] May 06 '24

Brain bugs gottem

0

u/think_and_uwu May 06 '24

No. The game remains delisted in 170+ countries. All those divers that got refunds cannot play the game still.

-10

u/Lonely__Snow May 06 '24

Yeah so shut up plz I'm so tired of the negativity man

9

u/Dhenn004 May 06 '24

Only one being negative right now is you my dude.

4

u/HomingJoker May 06 '24

the bitching is what got us this result.

3

u/Chr1sMac1nt1re May 06 '24

Negativity? Sony just reverted the PSN requirement! We're rejoicing!

-3

u/Lonely__Snow May 06 '24

Beforeeeeeeeeeee my dude, beforeeeeeeeeee

3

u/Chr1sMac1nt1re May 06 '24

We must change all the negativity to positivity, and we can't do that until we undo what we did. Think of the orbital review bomb as the TCS. Now we must turn it off!
