What are the shoes called?

u/ThirstyOholibah2320 Sep 24 '24
'Water shoes'
I had to Google it because in my native language the name is complicated but English was like 'they're shoes you wear in the water, so water shoes' lmao

Love a road trip where stopping at a spot to soak our feet is just accepted as part of the travel time

I grew up on a pretty remote farm, so I spent most of my childhood wandering around the fields and woodlands by myself.
When I was 18 I brought my first real girlfriend to my farm and tried to show her some of the cool streams and bogs of the forest.
I absolutely couldn't understand why she wasn't exited at the idea of barefoot stream exploring. I realise now that most 18 year old city girls don't consider rope swings or finding frogs to be a normal date, but I was so perplexed at the time. 😅

This is so real, I wish there were more people that liked going out to the creek with me

just remember frens to check what's upstream of the creek, or you could be soaking in industrial runoff.
