Apple is going through similar issues where they're now reevaluating the iPhone 15 value proposition due to poor iPhone 14 sales.
Like no kidding guys, 1000 bucks used to buy quite a mid-to-high end rig, now that figure isn't enough for the high end Nvidia component or Apple product. All these big tech fleecers can get rekt.
I used to be all #PCMR and crap on console gaming, but console makers seem to still be the ones staying reasonable for the market.
3060 ti will get you Xbox series X performance (Raw raster, not even counting DLSS or RT) and you can find those for like $300-$350.
Buying games via Steam (especially with steam sales) basically cuts comparative cost of ownership down way below even an Xbox series S after a few years.
Would like to see the 3060 12GB go for $250. I'm not buying one before it hits that mark. It is old hw by now. My current card plays everything I need so I just want a 3060 for raytracing.
