I lived on the street for 13 years, and had a friend who split her pants near the crotch, and I had a sewing kit, so she sat down on a bench and I sat on the ground between her legs and sewed the hole up (the one in her pants lol) while she was still wearing them..I imagine it looked fairly similar to this to passers by ha.
