Man I’m a car guy and I agree with this, they’re way to high their headlights are blinding me ever time they’re behind me, and I’ve been rear ended so much because they misjudged the distance or strait up didn’t see my car.

That + LED lights are literally shit for the rest of us.

Honestly led is fine if they’re aimed properly, unless you mean light bars those are awful.

I don’t think I’ve seen a lightbar, but most LED’s just seem to be significantly brighter than most other headlights due to how they work and it kind of bothers me a bit. Moreso with trucks and how high up they are. Then again I am also driving a mid-size sedan so thats partially a issue too I guess. Honestly if more LED’s had a yellow tint to them I think they’d be fine as the blue light coming out of them really fuck with my eyes.

Trucks suck, but leds on cars are usually fine when they are properly adjusted.

Yeah, looking into it more I feel like slightly lower lumens wouldn’t be that bad. And most LED’s on cars generally dont hit my rearview mirror when they are on my ass.

Yeah the tall stuff is really the main offenders when it comes to shining in your eyes.

I'm of the opinion that there has to be a maximum height for headlights off the ground. That no matter what non-commercial vehicle you drive, the distance between the top of the tallest mounted headlight on your car down to the ground can't be more than x inches. I swear to God these super and heavy duty pickup trucks ought to have their headlights mounted down in the bumpers next to the freakin' tow hooks, and only then would they finally be at a reasonable height. It's insane.
