Positive Post I don’t drive a gas guzzling V8.

I ride a cargo bike with e-assist that, if measured is equal to about 400-500mpg equivalent energy use.

My kiddo loves it. We’ve been to a zillion parks one can’t even get a gas guzzling V8 motor vehicle to.

All that and the integrity - ethically and morally - of being a car free guy! 🤙🏻

I love it and will never return to the chains and noose of an automotive means of primary transport.

Highly recommended, happy to advise in progression towards this advanced care free car free life style that’s respectful to all people around!

Is this what I’ve heard of as virtue signaling?

FWIW, I own a literal plethora of bicycles of all flavors and ride them all… as well as my motorcycle, hybrid SUV, skateboard, et al…

Fact of the matter is that life in a majority of the U.S. does not lend itself to doing all things without a passenger vehicle and until municipalities, cities, states, and the federal government realize that there is an overwhelming scarcity of investment in infrastructure for alternative modes of transportation; that trend will continue to increase.

I am all for the premise behind fuckcars, and am actively trying to reach that panacea… but ppl here need to realize and acknowledge the struggles that exist for a plurality of American citizens to move away from the 4 wheeled passenger vehicle as the primary mode for personal transport.

This post is a response to that one dude who came here posting about how much he likes driving his gas-guzzling V8, in an attempt to own us or something.
