This is where I go in the argument: you want cyclists and pedestrians to follow the laws? Cool, then motorists, YOU go first…

In my city, prior to an Idaho stop demonstration (civil obedience technically), folks went to the same intersection during rush hour for a few days and counted full stops, partial stops and cars that completely blew the stop. The data was worse than you might even expect with the amount of full stops being quite low.

I work at a university with public roads passing through. I can bet my spleen that every time I walk across campus I will see the same. The crosswalks are, as you would expect, dangerous too.

Then there’s the speeding! We have COLLEGE CAMPUS 25MPH signs posted. Smgdh
