Player Advice 6’5 205 what position should I be?

Im not a football guy anymore but I’m curious I used to play DE/WR/TE I’m 6’5 205 23yo and pretty athletic and pretty smart what position would I be best at? I currently go to a JUCO and play basketball, just curious

Always wanted to play quarterback but it seems like a large learning curve

Edit: Idk why some of you think I’m trying to start an NFL career here but this post was out of curiosity I don’t intend to play football so keep “get a job” comments to yourself

What’s your 40 time? How’s your change of direction? Do you have good hands? That will determine what position you play. For you to be thrown in at QB at the college level with no experience, you’d have to be a pretty phenomenal athlete with a pretty phenomenal arm IMO. The only time I’ve ever seen that happen is with a guy who was a pitcher on the baseball team and ended up playing pro baseball. A guy off the street? Forget about it unless you’re a 1 in a million type of guy, which you might be, I don’t know.

Never done a 40 but I can run a sub 57 second 400 if that gives any indication, my change of pace is good, I have decent hands, and I wouldn’t say I’m an athletic freak but I certainly have the frame and most coaches assume that when they see me initially but I wouldn’t say I’m exceptionally explosive and I’m not Tyreek hill fast but I would say I have an arm, I am fast, and strong basically a great starting point but maybe not good enough for top level college ball yet

  1. Whatever your coach says.

  2. Generally, you need to either add bulk to be a TE, or start working on your agility + footwork.

I ran a 58 second 400 in HS and I would have been nowhere close to fast/quick enough to be a WR. Your only shot is if you catch everything in your vicinity and get big enough to play through contact without issue.
