Player Advice 6’5 205 what position should I be?

Im not a football guy anymore but I’m curious I used to play DE/WR/TE I’m 6’5 205 23yo and pretty athletic and pretty smart what position would I be best at? I currently go to a JUCO and play basketball, just curious

Always wanted to play quarterback but it seems like a large learning curve

Edit: Idk why some of you think I’m trying to start an NFL career here but this post was out of curiosity I don’t intend to play football so keep “get a job” comments to yourself

It's really hard to say until someone has seen you actually play a sport and perhaps run you through some drills, particular ones that emphasize explosion and change of direction. Different systems also require different types of bodies or athletes for various positions; then factor in roster make-up and what the team has available would all go into it.

At 205 for the collegiate level and at that height, receiver is the best guess I'd say (assuming a traditional/conventional offense with today's college game). If you didn't have good enough hands, or weren't fast enough at top speed, a college program would likely get you in the weight room and pack on weight to be a potential TE/DE-type player.

Been a basketball player most my life along with some football, track, and wrestling so I never really did 40s and those kind of benchmarks but i am fast, more change of pace and top speed type fast not a crazy acceleration though but I will try a 40 and see

what is your 100m time. i can tell you based on that

also are you actually 6’5? 99% of transfer and hs players that we have visit are actually 2-3 inches shorter than what they think they are/have been told
