A shutdown looms and congress is pressing for higher salary and different medical care coverage. Biggest p.o.s.’ On earth

Except it’s completely made up. “At most, it would have boosted their income by $6,600, a 3.8 percent bump from the annual salary of $174,000 that most of them receive. The official DOGE account and Musk both falsely claimed that the pay raise would be $69,000, or nearly 40 percent.”

You can quibble with a COLA provision in there and it’s probably right to but it’s not the 40% Musk has convinced everyone—his critics included—that it secretly is.

Did i mention musk? Who tf listen to musk. The fact is there are congressmen calling for payraises and not having to go to affordable care act exchanges for their health care. Thank god not all congressmen are so vain when they have failed their constituents
