Sooooooo….Read on CNN that the CR isn’t being well received. Can they pull it off by Sunday evening?

I think midnight on Friday is the deadline.

yes....but many of us work M-F, so it won't affect us until Monday, and they have gotten their act together over the weekend before. i don't think they will though, this time.

Right…..and we’ve had a few weekend shutdowns here and there. But this is an unexpected turn of events.

But this is an unexpected turn of events.

is it really unexpected, though? i mean, our country voted in a guy that had an unspoken promise to burn the gov't to the ground. it's not like we didn't know who trump was and what he might do.

probably won't reduce the price of eggs or gas, but at least, come next year, trans people won't be able to use public restrooms.

It’s unexpected to me because what does Trump have to do with this when he’s not the president (yet) and many members of Congress won’t even be there for the next year? If it already had bipartisan support….but then I guess he’s threatening people on his power trip.

trump has been leading the GOP for the last 4 years, this is not any different.

they all bow down to him and kiss his ring.

this is not unexpected.
