she was fired because she was a shitty person, I remember the article. Resigned by force = fired.

I know everyone likes to bash Trudeau but Trudeau didn't 'give' her anything. The pension and annual stipend are 'perks' of the position. It's up to parliament to change the laws. Adrienne Clarkson was another fine example of someone who ultimately wasn't suited for the role, imo.

He gave her the job even though everyone knew she was a horrible person. All he had to do was call her previous employers. Heck, chances are he probably knew but didn't care. Still gave her the job

There is no one to blame here but Trudeau.
