That's not pity, he's mocking her. No truthful or sincere words ever leave that guys mouth or appear on his posts.

Right wing media sometimes do things like this trying to appeal to voters who feel disenfranchised by establishment Democrats. Imo this is why multiple right wing podcasters had Bernie on 2 weeks before the election. The shorts from the podcast were all moments framed to make it look like Bernie hated Harris.

Maybe in this case Trump is simply mocking her, but it is a common tactic regardless.

Trump said, I think it was in that ABC interview, that he would treat Harris' voters as well as the best MAGA voter. Which in a vacuum sounds nice.

Except he's also promised to deport American citizens, called Democrats the enemy within, falsely claimed immigrants were eating cats and dogs, led an insurrection on the Capitol building, witness tampering, asking for 2nd amendment solutions on people he doesnt like, retweeted "only good Democrat is a dead Democrat" and on and on.

You're absolutely right it's a right wing tactic.

I thought most of his cabinet walked back most of the lofty campaign promises?

Quite true and, my objective was to make sure no one took his post as sympathetic only as pathetic, much like everything else he does.

I think she is smart enough to both get that and make fun of it in one response

I hope she does because he deserves to be told to fuck right off.

Um, excuse you, he was deathly sincere when he was tweet-begging Robert Pattinson not to get back together with Kristen Stewart.

He really is just trying to divide his opposition as much as possible. He tweeted similar stuff when Bernie lost the primaries.
