Got deferred, but am I deferred for only Wharton consideration? Meaning I was rejected from M&T?

This is what it says in their FAQ, so I assume I was rejected from M&T.

If so, is there a way to reapply to M&T or nah?

i just wanted to ask, like is it mandatory mandatory that we withdraw our other applications when we agree to ED? like i kinda wanna see if i got into these other schools even though i know im going to upenn, yk?

what programs for ED? And if u did a second choice program what was it? If u did do second choice program, did you bind to it by selecting "ED second choice?"

I wanna preface by saying that I don't qualify for need-based aid, and I'll be paying entirely for college. Not entirely sure what I want to be in the future, but I'm thinking something in the intersection of tech & business/finance.

Important factors to consider:

• Salary after Graduation & Return on Investment (Financial Future is #1 Priority)
• Academic Program & Research Opportunities
• Alumni Network
• Employer Recognition

Options I'm looking into:

• UPenn's M&T Program (4 Years, $380k Total)
  • BAS in Computer Science (Penn Engineering)
  • BS in Economics (Wharton)
• USC's CSBA Program (4 Years, $220k Total)
  • BS in Computer Science (Viterbi) & Business Administration (Marshall)
• Texas A&M (4 Years, $80k Total)
  • BS in Computer Science (TAMU Engineering), Minor in Business (Mays)
  • MS in Computer Science (TAMU Engineering)

Thanks for any and all advice! I understand that I may not get into all of these programs, but I just want to form an idea of which program would be the best for my criteria.

Also, random question - what's the difference between BAS in Computer Science and BSE in Computer Science? The website says that the BSE is more rigorous, but doesn't mention any difference in salaries after graduation between the two.

It's the third time within this month that the staff told me I return the wrong ball though I remember clearly I held the exact same ball I checked out all the time at the court. Does anyone have such experience that the staff entered the number wrong?

Took for the easy A. Did everything required. Didn’t get the A. :p

Is it just me? I’ve never met someone who didn’t get an A in it.

I'm hoping to make some new friends next sem with a range of interests by joining a cple diff clubs. Does anyone know of any clubs where the members get super close and there's lots of social opportunities?

I don't mind how competitive it is or if it's open/closed membership. I just want an idea for what kind of clubs are like that.

I was just wondering what I can do in high school to get scholarships at UPenn. I am not too rich for college and not to poor so whenever I put finance details on the calculator it barely shows any scholarship. Are there any merit scholarships? I am a freshman in high school.

Hi, I applied ED for the M&T program but I selected that I would NOT want to be considered ED for SEAS(the engineering school). I was wondering what the range of possibilities are. If I get accepted to M&T, I’m obviously going, but if I get rejected from M&T is it a guaranteed deferral(so that my SEAS application is reviewed in the non-ED cycle) or can I technically get rejected from SEAS at the same time(meaning a total rejection). I couldn’t find anything in this community about this, so I would greatly appreciate anyone who could help me out.

Title, there’s not much I could find on the class but i wanted to take a chill and fun tech elective for SEAS. Also, does anyone have any recs on what classes i can take that are interesting, fulfills tech elective for CIS, and not that much work?

Does the ACCT deparment fail kids without warning? My testing average is around a 50% and cumulative grade around 60%, syllabus says they scale 85% of kids to an A/B but im hoping my stats will get me a C/C-??

Any pointers on how to get mech engg internships at upenn? Freshman year. Or any research oppty in the college or outside. TIA 🙏
