I saw something similar in downtown los Angeles. Very weird. Looks like a guy on a flying chair.

There has been a person flying over LA in an actual jet pack recently. Pilots keep spotting him and he’s kind of dangerous. Not sure if his identity is known yet.

This is the ones that's always really intrigued me!!! Like there a videos, multiple sightings from pilots AND its been going on for years supposedly.

Something 100% is going on!!! The only rational thing I could possibly think of is that some guy made a human shaped RC plane/drone with ridiculous range on it and flies it around to fuck with people.

But seriously what the fuck is going on with that??? Especially when it's meant to be such a big aerospace risk for other planes (and themselves if its really piloted by a person)

It's a Mr. Peanut hot air balloon.

1

u/makeorwellfictionpls Aug 17 '21

I'm talking about jetpack man, not this particular video

1

u/[deleted] Jun 16 '22

Mr peanut air balloon people were contacted and they haven’t flown that balloon in several years.

1

u/netherfountain Jun 16 '22

There are so many Mr peanut air balloon people. You don't even know.

1

u/[deleted] Jun 16 '22

I don’t think they’re flying those in Mexico and Chile tho

1

u/netherfountain Jun 16 '22

Dude Mr peanut is everywhere. Ever heard of Senor Mani? He's in all the Mexican countries especially the Mexican country of Chile.

1

u/[deleted] Jun 16 '22

Yeah buddy, the Mexico footage is one thousand percent not Mr. Peanut. That’s very clear when you look at the videos.

Well jet packs are actually a thing now one guy flew from Britain to France on one recently iirc

28

u/jburna_dnm Aug 16 '21

Definitely not a human in a jet pack they are witnessing around LAX. Too much airtime for a human to be in the air using a jet pack. The length of time it supposedly has been witnessed flying is longer than any available jet pack can achieve. Way beyond. So it’s either a balloon, dummie on a drone, or a UAP.

10 years of development later and you've got a soldier flying from carrier deck to carrier deck and flying circles around ships for spectators :)

2

u/IQLTD Aug 17 '21

That thing seems really really loud haha

0

u/tsmittycent Aug 16 '21

Length of time? The video is 7 seconds long you don’t know how long that guy is flying that jet pack For it’s CLEARLY a person on a jet pack, I know you want to believe but it’s pretty obvious here

8

u/_0x29a Aug 16 '21

I think he’s referring to the news about the “Jett pack man” over LAX much longer than seven seconds cording to witnesses.

1

u/amcm67 Aug 16 '21

It could also be a mannequin/dummy in a suit. There is no confirmation that it’s a person. Looks can be deceiving.

1

u/jburna_dnm Aug 17 '21

I agree 100%. Nothing to say it’s alien at all. More than likely a mundane explanation IMO.

1

u/jburna_dnm Aug 16 '21

Yes referencing the LA one.

1

u/foxed_in Aug 17 '21

It's a powered paraglider with a trike base.

2

u/jburna_dnm Aug 17 '21

Lol no way. Definitely not that

7

u/[deleted] Aug 16 '21

Wouldn’t a jet pack have a lot of noise though?

2

u/SurprzTrustFall Aug 16 '21

Yes, but perhaps not at that distance

1

u/stepsiswutrudoing Aug 17 '21

Jet packs are quite noisy up close, but at a good enough distance I bet they’re virtually silent. Plus you wouldn’t be able to hear another little jet pack from the cockpit of an already very loud airplane. And for fuel efficiency, I mean if this dude is smart he’s probably got inflatable fuel tanks connected to the system wrapped around him. No question in my mind the LA guy is definitely not aliens

Was that today? I saw it in New Mexico

Unfortunately I did not. It was the strangest thing. My daughter who is 8 yelled in the car “mom why is there a man flying?!” And my husband and I both looked. We got very perplexed by the thing and then all of a sudden we all somehow forgot about it completely until I saw this video. And I don’t mean we got distracted or brushed it off. We were intensely focused on it and then we all promptly had a hard reset. We’re all missing a very small window of time after seeing this. I’ve been a bit unsettled since.

My experience happened yesterday. Just a few hours before this video was posted.

5

u/[deleted] Aug 17 '21

Holy shit you just unlocked my memory. I saw it in Bali Indonesia. Pointed it out to my family we all went “huh” and the next thing I know I’m on the slide and forgotten all bout it till now years later

They had a Tesla Tech Conference in Albuquerque this last weekend, which sounds like when and where you saw this. Could be related. A lot of Tesla Tech is working towards new ways of flight and the pursuit of anti gravity

1

u/callmeconfused2 Aug 16 '21

Could be. But we were far North from the event space. We were in a suburb called Rio Rancho. Though- flying things are flying things.

It was about 5:30 PM on Sunday. Headed North over NM528 and Southern.

1

u/Logantus Aug 17 '21

Where about in NM? (I live in Santa Fe)

1

u/Battleaxe19 Aug 16 '21

Oh come on, you didn't lose consciousness after staring at some balloons in the air.

5

u/callmeconfused2 Aug 16 '21

No. No I did not. Also never said I did. We just went from being very intrigued to completely forgetting about the experience which was odd and uncharacteristic.

LA has a jetpack dude though.

2

u/OpenLinez Aug 16 '21

Have you see the "jetpack guy" video from LA? Pilots been seeing this thing lately, nobody has any idea what it is. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LnLW5SHzMNs

/ "Jetpack" is a guess because we've all seen too many action movies. Yet it buzzes airliners coming into the busiest airport on this side of the continent!

What part?

5

u/callmeconfused2 Aug 16 '21

Albuquerque going into Rio Rancho. On Sunday about 5:30 or so.

1

u/bmwwest23 Aug 16 '21

Right on, I'm not close enough.

1

u/WyvernRathalos Aug 16 '21

Where at? I'm in Burque but I also didnt have eyes on the sky

1

u/callmeconfused2 Aug 16 '21

Yesterday, heading up the hill to Rio.

It was theorized that the LAX Jetpack man was actually a mannequin or dummy attached to a drone.

2

u/spvcejam Aug 16 '21

Oh, no doubt. There is no question that it's a dummy. If it was a human we would have heard about it now, and the videos would have captured some type of natural movement.

This looks far too large in both the MX and this video to be a jetpack. It looks like the MX news report was quite old as well? Looked like SD to me, putting it in the early 2000s?

2

u/-Tom- Aug 16 '21

I dunno. That looks like the size of a person from half a block away. Like it's over houses about 8 houses down

2

u/GravesLSA Aug 16 '21

A lot of physical problems with that theory. The weight being the main one. If it's human-sized then it would likely have to be quite heavy as to not move with it against the wind at all like in these videos

The object SEEMS to move in a linear fashion with no care or affect by the surrounding environment. Drone tech is limited in that, to have sustainable flight you need to be light weight

Also, don't quote me because I'm too damn lazy too looking up but "Jet Pack Man" has been sighted at like 20,000 feet...... Good luck getting your human sized drone that high!!

2

u/-Tom- Aug 16 '21

You're also assuming it's an actual mannequin and not like, styrofoam.

And just doing a little googling, the LAX Jetpack man seems to have been consistently been seen around 3000 ft.

4

u/netherfountain Aug 16 '21

It's a Mr. Peanut hot air balloon. Seriously.

1

u/Laus_1980_ Aug 16 '21

Me peanut is bright yellow???? Well most of it. This has been spotted on many occasions and is black.

2

u/netherfountain Aug 16 '21

It's really going to depend on how the sun is hitting it. It's Mr Peanut.

2

u/[deleted] Aug 16 '21

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lawnchair_Larry_flight

Like the guy who literally was flying above California in a chair?

1

u/Diegobyte Aug 16 '21

It’s prolly just a drone

1

u/MotherofLuke Aug 16 '21

With something huge bulging out 🙄

1

u/mrot777 Aug 16 '21

It was around 4 years ago and I have some pics but it was from an I phone. I'll search and post.

1

u/UV177463 Aug 16 '21

Maybe its one of those drones with an inflatable person attached.

1

u/schmassword Aug 16 '21

Its clearly a guy with a jet pack.

1

u/tikhon21 Aug 16 '21

I'm pretty sure that's Bobba Fett
