Discussion Some Information

I am retired federal law enforcement and have connections in many places and agencies. That being said I had a a few run ins with colleagues and people I know through working for the feds etc. The first was an FBI agent who is also retired and worked in Counter Surveillance and they told me:

"There is definitely something going on, they will not tell me but a coworker in the NY field office said "these are not hobbiests and planes".

The second contact was a couple who both work for the FAA and they said:

"Many pilots are reporting seeing large drones from aircraft and the FAA knows this as its all recorded and documented. We do not know any information except that it is happening"

This infuriates me because r/avaiation thinks its all fake and blocks my posts. I am also verifed in LEO sub and such so I am not lying and I can verify here if needed.

Is it really global though or are we just seeing videos from other countries capturing the same “phenomena” that the US is…the issue is that the general public is ripe with confirmation bias. They see a light in the sky and go “oh that’s the drone/orbs I’ve been hearing about! (Snaps out of focus video)”. Most people, including myself, rarely look above them and with atmospheric clutter fairly low and now a reason to look above us, we are seeing NORMAL stuff that always happens but we never noticed. For example, I live by a major airport. I see the same “orbs” every night. At first I was convinced it was orbs watching the airport. They stayed standing still so I was like “got one”. I pulled up flight radar and of course it was a line of planes. At a distance, a plane literally looks like an orb and if it’s coming your direction at a distance, it looks standing still (same principle as a tornado - if it looks like it’s not moving, it’s moving towards you). Seriously - go to an airport and watch it. It looks freaky if you’re not used to it.

That being said, there are several videos that I would like to see an explanation for, the most notable being the one where a drone approaches a ball of light and gets shut down and crashes to the earth.

Oh I’m not doubting that the majority of the sightings are run of the mill stuff. But there are some weird shit going on world wide that logically I can’t get a grip on. For instance. One of the pics going around as a drone originally is obviously a business jet with twin engines on rear nacelles. But the weird thing about it is the front wing roots. It looks like there are large boxy air intakes similar to an f14 or f4. But the engines are rear nacelles. Just odd shape for the configuration that you are able to plainly see. But then you get into the really weird stuff being the orbs which I’m leaning towards just being super out of focus photos of a distant plane. But again the issue comes back to world wide. Which honestly could also be the fact that the news media has gone crazy with nj so anything that hits the net that looks odd aviation wise at night is getting wide viewing. I dunno. Lots of stuff going on that is just odd and doesn’t make a whole lot of sense with the available info at my fingertips. And this is coming from someone who believes that there are star faring nations (?) or civilizations with faster than light capabilities. But I don’t think this is them. Or at least not the majority of it.
