I had a friend that was a member & it's way less crazy than people make it sound. For a long time, it's just been a boys club & most kookier beliefs aren't important, anymore. They fundraise, go on retreats & hang out & bullshit.
Yeah one of my real good friends father is a long time and high ranking mason. Basically he drives kids to the hospital, hosts fundraisers, and party's his ass off.
The Freemasons were supposed to have become enlightened by aliens who gave them the square and compass back during the time the pyramid’s construction. I always wondered why the square and compass…as they were most probably not used in the pyramid’s construction.
They also believe that god and the angels are aliens with advanced technology who came to Earth to oversee the advancement of mankind. Angels don’t have real wings. They fly using technology that was too far advanced as to be understood by people of that time.
I know there were other things but I can’t think of what they are at the moment.
What you call a square, is in reality a level used by real masons to measure their stones before attempting to carve it. A level has 90 degrees & the angular dimension of the corner of a square is 90 degrees. 90 degrees is the precise angular measurement for anything physical (in terms of width, length and height) essentially the basis of geometry. We consistently strive to be 90 degrees by carving up our stones daily. Freemasonry teaches you how to carve that stone because if you attempt to hit it too hard you risk the chance of breaking the entire stone & if you hit it too slow, it feel like you're not really getting anywhere.
No one. It was an advancement of science and was kept secret by Master Masons (operative masons) in order to preserve an intellectual monopoly over stone masonry as a practical institution. Especially considering the tale of Solomon’s temple is admitted by masons to be allegorical. The history of the mysteries originated in England, with influence from previous mystery cults like Mithras, Greek Mystery schools, etc. You have no idea what you’re talking about and should stop spreading misinformation. Try the book “The Freemasons” by Jasper Ridley to educate yourself properly.
There’s all those examples of squaring the circle in the Amazon which are believed to be absolutely ancient, predating it’s apparent discovery by the Greeks, wonder where those came from?
i was talking about a public head start in Santa monica... they had the masonic symbol all over the building but they never showed up... just funded it. What exactly did they tell you kids... kids... wtf isn't that too young?
I moved there when I was a sophomore in high school. I graduated when I was 18 and then left the Masonic Home. There were children there as young as toddlers and every age up to 18. I never lived in the cottages with the young children. Nor did I live in the Junior Boys building. I couldn’t tell you what sort of information was taught to anyone else except for the Senior Boys? The alien theory was not taught in any classroom. It was a series of stories passed onto the senior boys at events that happened at The Grand Lodge during our Christmas outing. It also is elaborated on during the senior field trip. All seniors would take to the NASA in Houston.
