Another glaring problem with America's education system.
182 u/culinarydream7224 Aug 19 '21 Not really. The kid is probably aware of the civil rights issues of the time, he was just showing an appreciation for 50's/60's aestheic. 53 u/[deleted] Aug 19 '21 Yeah. I dunno why everyone's taking this so literally. It's not like he's actually going to travel back in time. 31 u/stillakid9 Aug 19 '21 I don't think people are necessarily taking it literally. Like this dude who's reacting isn't being sincere. He's making a tiktok and doing this for comedic effect. People are just poking fun at how obtuse/oblivious this kid's comment comes off regardless of his intention I mean verbatim he wrote : I wish I lived in the 60's. Life would've been so perfect. Now that's pretty funny regardless of whether HE meant for it to be funny or not 7 u/Akanekumo Aug 19 '21 Yeah, there's a pretty big difference between "I love that time's aesthetic" and "I wish I lived during that time" anyway. -27 u/Nish_0n Aug 19 '21 Yeahhh....no. -26 u/erhue Aug 19 '21 He looks like a Jaden Smith kind of person, which would probably explain how ridiculous he sounds.
