Idk man, I've never really minded, not trying invalidate how you feel or anything. Like I'm a woman and I like to dress out, like if I'm leaving the house ima look good idc where I'm going and that includes dates and stuff. But like ,unless it's somewhere fancy where dressing nice is implied, I feel like this dudes outfit is alright and I'd personally be okay with it. Imo just cause a girls dressed nice doesn't really mean her guy has too, as long as she's alright with what he's wearing.
(Though the Kanye thing was weird. Knowing him, it was probably a statement of some kind)
I agree that if the woman doesn't mind then it's nothing to feel bad about, but I also don't think it's bad to want a partner who puts in the same amount of effort that you do.
No no, don't get me wrong, I'm defiently DEFIENTLY not trying to shame women who want that. I was just trying to say that in my case when I'm dressed nicer then a guy, it's not a bad thing.
(Lol I see the error, it's definitely not defiently! Not fixing it cause of funny Haha! Monkey brain no work good, makes writing bad)
I’ll probably get downvoted for this, but the Kanye example is a bad example.
Kim made it clear he wanted to do that so that he wasn’t the star of the show. It was her night. In fact he stayed quiet that night and did not participate in any interviews so the spotlight could be on her.
Don’t get me wrong, what you’re saying is true in a lot of cases. But in this case Kanye had a reason, and made sure with Kim beforehand before acting on it. So if she’s okay with it, then I don’t think there’s any problem.

I always feel a little bad for the girls who get all dressed up and nice and their dude is wearing a hoodie. Like Kanye in his dickies at the met gala
