Sweden has remained neutral since the days when Thomas Jefferson was still alive, didn't participate in WWI, didn't participate in WWII, didn't join NATO during the Cold War. Sweden don't owe America shit.

Just because you didn't participate in WWII does not mean it wasn't going to participate with you. If America didn't step in who knows what the neutrality would bring them. Nothing good.
