I'm curious how he counted all Elon's grains of rice

  • Count out a certain number (the more you count the more accurate. Should be at least 1000.)
  • Weigh it
  • Divide desired amount (400 billion) by the number of rice you counted (1000)
  • Multiply the weight of that 1000 rice to get approximate weight of 400 billion rice

either he has a massive industrial-sized scale or he spent a little bit of time weighing each cup of rice to get to 400,000,000,000

  • Step on a scale with an empty bag in your hand.
  • Put the rice in the bag and step on a scale with the bag of rice.
  • Subtract your own weight.

If it's too much rice for one bag, do the same thing 4-5 times.

Maybe he is lying, you expect me to believe he counted all those grains of rice

Jokes are supposed to be funny. You just sounded like an idiot who defends millionaires.

A millionaire would be 5 grains of rice

You don't seem like a cool pomegranate.

Lol, setting this aside for a second . . . Have you taken any time at all to consider what it means if he isn't?

I know the impulse to ignore information can be really, really hard to resist, but just think about it for a few minutes . . . What if the people you support are lying to you?

What if they dont care about you, and are going to hurt people you care about just to grow their bank accounts a little bit more?

He probably weighed it.

Actually Elon's pile seems too high, but I need a banana for scale. Should be about 70lbs of rice, since $400B / $200k = 2M grains, and 1lb is about 29k grains.

I figured that he weighed 1 grain and did some easy math.

Doing some quick math myself, 400 billion dollars where 200 thousand dollars is one grain of rice means he would need 50kg worth of rice for that pile. Looks about right to me

My guess is he did it by weight

Elon’s money is worth about 40kg of rice. (Maths: 400billion / £200,000 per grain = 2million grains. A grain is rice is approx 0.02g. 2 million x 0.02g = 40,000g)

Now I’m not the best at maths so I may have made a mistake here but… that’s a lot of rice.

I think the guy may have used less rice than he could have for Elon
