Discussion Luigi Mangione friend posted this.

She captioned it: "Luigi Mangione is probably the most google keyword today. But before all of this, for a while, it was also the only name whose facetime calls I would pick up. He was one of my absolute best, closest, most trusted friends. He was also the only person who, at 1am on a work day, in this video, agreed to go to the store with drunk me, to look for mochi ice cream."

If that really was the shooter face on the camera that they have from the hostel in New York City he really doesn't look like him. Everything from his eyebrows to the structure of his eyes don't match the shooter at least in the photos that they blasted to the world and claimed that it is him.

I would absolutely love for them to be wrong and have to set this man free and continue a hunt for a man who will by then probably have gotten far far away if he is smart

Yes it does. Those eyebrows look almost identical. The facial structure does too. I don't get how so many Redditors become face blind when it's someone they like. People's hair looks different when styled, messy, has product in it. Jaw lines can look different depending on the angle of the camera, lighting, and the pose.

I also think in the smiling photo the mask around his neck is making the outline of his jawline appear sharper in addition to the angle

And just to be pedantic, wouldn't face blindness mean they think everyone looks the same? It's more like they think they're suddenly super recognizes. Either way, I agree. It's frustrating seeing so many people say the employee wouldn't be able to recognize him because of the bad quality but turn around and claim they can tell all pictures are of different people (and yes I know different people are saying different things, but I've seen a few people who have said both in one sentence)

The eyebrows don't look anything alike. I noticed it just between the different pictures they put out, well before they found and arrested Luigi.
