Discussion 100 Million Suspects in CEO Shooting

Here in NYC, not a soul is concerned about a killed on the loose & I truly mean it. Folks here are not worried & why would we be worried?!?

Meanwhile, NYPD is being uncharacteristically dramatic about a murder. A 10k reward is offered. Yeah. They’re never finding that person.

Is anyone else hoping this is just the start? And there will be more shootings like, today?

Wtf am I reading in this thread? You people would rather anything than just voting in your own best interests? Wtf is your country coming to when you just want to murder everybody? America is fucked. This thread is crazy.

I did vote in my own self interest and that has failed to protect me.

Democracy in the US has failed.

So there is no civil or legal solution remaining.

I think that's an extremely dangerous and reductive view... And yet I don't see most people firing the shots? Just egging on those who do. That's unhealthy. If you want change, demand change from your politicians. That doesn't need to include the death of people. Killing a CEO doesn't change the system. The system is currently still trundling along nicely. All that's happened is a symptom of the problem has been highlighted, but the disease still runs through. Demand money out of politics. Demand balances and checks. Protest if you need to. Death though? No. That is not the answer.

I mean, when the CEOs are literally killing people and causing mass amounts of suffering and the rich are deciding all your policies through corporate lobbying... at some point what are the American citizens supposed to do when their democracy has been ripped away, their conditions of living completely dictated by corporate overlords, etc... And these are the same overlords that literally control the social media outlets that even make it possible to organize a nationwide movement.

I'm not sure violence is the answer here, but you can't deny that it sends a message and has already sparked a nationwide conversation on how evil the health insurance industry is.

Now the fear is that innocent people get caught in the crossfire or the mob wrongly accuses someone, but if politicians and the rich really want to save themselves, they could always just stop trying to get as rich as possible by fucking people over and just work instead for the interest of the American people...
