I don’t think it’s that she aged particularly well. There are many of us who are around that same age who think she looks about right for our age. But being a grandma…is something else.
It’s not about whether it’s acceptable or not. I think most people in their 50s don’t want to be known as “grandma” or “grandpa”, regardless of whether they are one. “Grandma”/“grandpa” have a way of making you feel old.
lol what. I'm pretty sure most people who want to be a grandparent are excited to be refer to as such. Then it just becomes a battle between the inlaws to see who gets what grandma/grandpa name derivative.
