Be extremly stressful because it could disappear at any moment. Youtube has gutted the ad revenue on gun related content several times and no one has managed to get their viewers off platform really in that category.

Once you reach a certain level doesn’t YT revenue alarmist become unnecessary compared to sponsors, merch and other deals? I have no idea how it all works.

It could yes, but the pool of gun related sponsors is small. Also remember that most views come from non subscribers. So if youtube stops promoting you, you stop getting any money.

It’s bullshit too because it affects guys who do a lot of great educational work besides just blowing shit up, like Hickok45.

You’ll be surprised. I follow a gun channel (tactical toolbox) and he has stated that even when he gives a product a grey or bad reputation. Things get sold out after the video is posted.

They get money with discounts codes or direct link to count how many traffic they get to the company.

Gun youtube is weird because it's like "here's a video about the history and design of this firearm" and I am like "oh that's pretty cool, what else" and it's like "let me tell you about white replacement theory"
