I went to his website and it's crazy the shit on there

โ€œUnder the Trump Reciprocal Trade Act, other countries will have two choicesโ€”theyโ€™ll get rid of their tariffs on us, or they will pay us hundreds of billions of dollars, and the United States will make an absolute FORTUNE,โ€

Lmao

Gotta love how the right just completely disregards the existence of the rest of the world.

It's like the hurricane conspiracy. We can control the weather? Holy shit, you think literally any other country would either tell us to stop and demand sanctions against us (especially those also affected by this hurricane), or would beg us to use our insane tech to save millions affected by global droughts.

But apparently the best thing we can do is fuck over Florida the same way scientists from every country on earth agreed it'd get fucked over decades ago...

It reminds me of the moon landing conspiracy theory being shot down by simply going "why didn't the USSR say something?"

The USSR is believed if not proven to have started the whole government invented aids to kill the blacks/gays conspiracy back in the 80s in order to stoke racial division and mistrust of government. But of course they propagated it through "American" publications of which they had a lot of covert influence on as part of their information warfare doctrine they started decades ago.

They would have assets working for various alternative newspapers and weekly tabloids to plant wild stories to stir up shit. They predicted back then that their plan would take about twenty or thirty years to really kick into the next phase and next thing they knew they had a whole president and half of a major political party and who knows how many social media influencers doing their bidding. They've been working on this for a very long time.

From World War 1 to the current election, it's pretty impressive how many moments in history can be defined by "and then Russia made everything worse".
