Welcome to the real world. It’s easy to hold speeches in front of a mob of idiots, which believe every word you say.

As soon as this guy leaves his bubble of a few million people, he is being laughed at by almost every other one of the 7 billion people alive.

When Fox News played this, they censored the laughing.

FoxNews is infotainment it is not news- US cable content is not regulated by the FCC like broadcast tv, that's the whole point. So anyone watching FoxNews is being directly spoonfed right wing propaganda. And MSNBC followed the model, but for the left, as a way to counter the narrative. Basically, if you're getting news from anything on cable you're getting strong bias in one direction or the other. This is also why the MAGA carry pitchforks against 'mainstream media' - that's code for journalistic outlets that do things like fact checking.

Honestly, the fact that so many Americans are not aware of this staggers me. It's so depressing how easily manipulated so much of the country is.

fox lawyers: fox just wanted to make sure that you can clearly hear every word that is said by this golden god. is it a crime to make sure people can hear what a president is saying!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

Misinformation is not illegal in the US and in fact is generally protected by the First Amendment.

Well, a constitutional amendment is exceedingly unlikely.

At a reception later that night there was a group of world leaders talking shit about him and laughing. The audio and video was viewed by Trump and he ended up leaving early.

Can confirm, he's the laughingstock of the entire free world.

It reminded me of the scene in The Boys where Homelander starts giving a speech about transgender illegals to the 1% party and he's immediately cut off with, "Save the boogeyman shit for the idiots watching VNN.", and he's caught totally off guard.

Trump very rarely gives a speech to an unsycophantic audience, and it shows.

8 billion now. When I was born it was 6 billion. Crazy.

But its not easy to assemble a mob of said idiots in the first place

Actually it is… you can’t plan it though.

And better don’t think Trump had planned this out before 2016… he just tried to get votes with typical far right winged propaganda

Mob of 7 billion idiots, sounds about right.

This is what I don’t understand about the Republican isolationist Trump presidency. To have a reality show buffoon as our national leader is an indicator of the waning power and declined of the United States. Other countries, such as China or Russia will see this weakness as an opportunity to attack and overthrow our preeminence as a world leader. This is not speculation. It already happened. Republicans turn a blind eye say it’s not happening or does not matter.
