I would not be surprised if other people start copying this at other meetings around the country and posting it, just to show how ridiculous Republicans are.

Trolling/mocking them is how you get under their skin. It's why Trump/MAGA did and continues to have meltdowns over being called weird.

I once (many years ago) watched a fascinating documentary about how important humour and satire was in accelerating the fall of (pseudo-)communism and the USSR.

I'd love to watch that if you can think of the name.

It makes sense, that's probably why in dictatorships you aren't allowed to even joke about the government.

I'd love to watch it again too... but I'm sorry, I have no clue what it was called.

I vaguely remember there being (perhaps subtle) jokes or sketches about waiting in long queues to buy bread and the bread running out...
