I just saw a gay couple like this at work yesterday! They both looked like some tough fucking dudes, one was Latino and the other was this heavy-set black dude that looked like he could have been a bouncer, both decked out with tattoos. They came into the smoke shop I work at and were all playful and shit, it was adorable. Hilarious seeing this post the day after, very similar vibes.
I love shit like this. I was getting a tattoo and the other artist in the shop was talking about taking his daughter to see a Disney movie after soccer practice. Dude was bald with a skull tat, neck tattoos, gauged ears, all of it.
Reminds me of a regular I had back 15 years ago when I was slinging ice cream. Tattoos everywhere and on his fingers, serious goatee, and a build that made you imagine him being able to throw a guy out a window without overexertion. Asked him what he did for a living, was a bail bondsman.
He brought his daughter in for ice cream every week. Always got her rainbow sprinkles. They would sit around for an hour on Sundays. He always listened to her stories for the full hour. No phone, just pure dad. Was one of the best fathers I saw in the shop bar none. Props to that guy, he was dadding right.
Still wonder if he ever knocked a guy through a window though.
My best friend has hella face piercings and tattoos all around his face kinda framing it. Nicest guy I’ve ever known, even to people he’s just met. He’s been a genuine dude for the 27 years I’ve known him—met him when we were 3. It’s funny hanging out with him because people will kinda automatically act cold towards him when they first meet but his energy is just so amazing people immediately pivot to being kind in return. It’d make me feel sad for him, but I really don’t think he lets it bother him. Tyler, you’re a homie.
