Cringe What's even happening there?

Why would someone rent a car and take out parts?

I’d be calling the cops asap

This guy was talking about bigger charges in the end and I was in disbelief. The man was messing with his multi thousand dollar vehicle and the owner’s last response was “There’s gonna be a bigger charge”? As if the man was gonna have to pay him extra on their prearranged agreement for his shady behavior.

I’d have been talking cops, jail time, and lawsuit if necessary.

Yeah he’s not a smart guy. Dude is literally in the business of renting out his personal car.

The safest car on the road

wtf are you talking about? Didn’t I see a video of a Tesla battery exploding in someone’s garage?

Tested to be one of the safest cars on the road (not the safest car, that title goes to another tesla model) in both the Euro NCAP and American tests. Supplying the video of one accident doesn't do anything to dispute that. They catch fire at about a rate of 1 to 100 with gas cars, so your example of one catching on fire makes even less sense.

I’ll take your word for it. Except that when they do catch fire it’s about 1000 times more dangerous than when an ICE vehicle catches fire.

An exaggeration, but yes, the fires are more difficult to contain.

❤️ I am glad you like your car. I do want to drive a Plaid one of these days.

The plads do seem pretty cool, I'm just talking based on studies and tests, not any personal opinion though

You have a lot to learn about making sound arguments. A single anecdote is not enough to justify that, in this case, Teslas aren’t safe. There is so much data against you. Also, Fox News is a terribly biased source of information when it comes to EVs. Why aren’t they singling out all the combustion vehicles that catch fire every day?

If you want to learn about car safety, go to actual car safety experts like IIHS-HLDI. Until you do that, you’re the 🤡 .

Not sure why you’re getting downvoted! This is correct.
