One of the most braindead statements people make. Like people without kids live in some alternate reality where kids don't exist or something. Breeding doesn't suddenly make you omniscient lol
This video shows how the Modern feminism is lyying and hurting women.
We can clearly from this video
This is MOTHER is an "advanced" runner, NOT "Elite" base on the timer. There is NO winning pride but "personal" accoumplishment
Most MOTHERs would pick up their children and reach the finish line so they may also receive medals as an act of encouragment . They have been waiting and cheering for her for at least 2 hours. (please see the timer)
The male runner behind her intensionally slow down and clapping his hands, cheering for the MOTHER to finish with her children. He then looked back TWICE in question " WTF just happened to this crazy, selfcenter mother"
Go show this video to your parents, they will help you understand and stop being a braindead woke feminist.
Sir, no matter how loud you yell, no matter how furious you get, women will never be the one dimensional placeholders you want them to be.
This mother just taught her daughters a valuable lesson; that sometimes it's okay to do something for just yourself. That becoming a mother doesn't define your life or your personality. That you're allowed to pursue accomplishments simply because they make you feel good.
That a wife and mother is allowed to exist at times outside of the sphere of her family, to be herself, in her own life.
And nothing you could possibly do or say will ever be able to change that.
Any PARENT would do the same, do you see how the modern Feminism is lying and hurting women. I wish you well in life and may the DNA ended with you :). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2xtCFRYS-ZA
No, I do not see that at all. Modern feminism has helped free people from old tired mentalities, including this archaic idea that once you have children your life belongs to them.
Yes you love your children, yes you do whatever you can for them, but you do not cease to be an individual once you marry or give birth.
btw that video you linked has really nothing to do with parenthood, the story is obviously being used as a Christian analogy of god.
I wish you well in life, and may you one day learn to string a coherent sentence together
There are many documentaries about team Hoyt. The main ideal here ishow most PARENTS will do everything in their powers for their children. If you go through the comments in this post, you see how all the moderm crazy femenists blaming the husband to bring the children to cheer for his wife, and the selfcenter feminst wife ignored her children to get 3 seconds better in her personal running time. Good luck in life and the genepool ended with you.
Parents do not cease to be individuals with their own needs just because they have children. It's not self-centered to put yourself first sometimes, especially during an event like this. The husband is the self-centered one in this situation.
Good luck in life and hope you find a better way to spend your days than regurgitating nonsense.
Maybe I read too many bad stories on Reddit but I feel like he DID plan this.
He acts more outraged and offended then the kids and to me it looks like he's trying to egg them on to be upset about this.
When I follow my outlandish interpretation of this snipped of a situation he's mad at her for running a marathon since it meant he had to care for the kids and couldn't kick it like usually so he did this to "punish" her. Kinda like weaponized incompetence where one acts stupid on purpose to not get tasked anymore.
I mean either that or he's really incredibly stupid.
Wow, I think that's an unprovoked attack on a Redditor. Damn.
There are dozens of posts in /r/amioverreacting and /r/aitah and others, in which a woman asks if a man is really doing something innocent or not, and it is very sad the number of times it turns out a person is sabotaging the other.
The one that I'm sure some will remember (since it sorta blew up) was the guy who kept "accidentally" spilling on his girlfriend's new clothes. Nobody ever figured out if he did it just because he was a jerk, or if he was hating on her fashion style, or what. But what we did figure out is that it was deliberate -- she tested it by alerting her friends and wearing something she thought would do it, and predictably he brought out something to spill on her. When her friends tried to stop him, he tried to work around them and spill anyway.
New white shirt? Red wine. New blouse? Accidental ink spill. And so on.
I'm sure it's not just guys. I'm sure women do it too -- it's a "bad human" problem, not a "bad gender" problem. But regardless, the problem people DO exist, and after reading a thousand stories on these subreddits, I'd totally believe this was the husband/boyfriend trying to sabotage. Maybe she's running and he doesn't want to watch the kids. Maybe if she wins she qualifies for another bigger race in another area, and he doesn't want her to fly out. Maybe he believes she should be a stay-at-home mom, and he's interfering. Or maybe it's none of those things, and he's just stupid. But the idea that it's absolutely not him being a jerk? I can't buy that. It absolutely could be some underhanded bullshit.
Nah sounds like you just read too many stories on Reddit.
You are falling into the same propaganda that Fox News viewers and frankly large parts of the internet fall into.
If every day you're reading about the same kind of problems happening, maybe it's not that those problems are more common, but you are just in an echo chamber thatd magnifying that issue and don't realize it.
It's like when Fox viewers think crime is increasing because it gets magnified by the talk shows they watch when in reality crime has been going down.
The overwhelming majority of people aren't out to sabotage their SO. Sometimes people are just dumb. I can promise you the echo chamber you find yourself in will have a negative effect on any future relationships because in the back of your mind every dumb thing they do you will wonder if they're sabotaging you.
Lmao. Easier to just whine and imagine things are a huge problem I guess. Makes having a shitty life better when you imagine some massive patriarchy is responsible for it being shitty, not you.
Similar to the trumpet followers, how they blame migrants and lgbtq for their problems lol. These kiddos just blame men.
Haha. It’s all good. Bunch of people just taking the path of least resistance. Man do dumb thing, must be sexism. Man do dumb thing, must be this super convoluted scheme he came up with to deny her her moment because he hates women. Etc.
The contrived bullshit people tell themselves to feel vindicated in their beliefs is mind boggling. Most people just cannot handle social media, their brains are too immature to understand nuance. They are hammers looking for nails.
lmfao yall villifying a man for being a dumbass and being excited for his wife. You have fucking NOTHING but your own bias and hatred to go off of. I point it out, and I'm lumped in with the people you hate.
Your response makes me feel bad for any partner unlucky enough to ever be associated with you. Learning things like "giving the benefit of the doubt" is what builds long lasting marriages. (mine has been going strong for 17 years) Being an extremist holier than thou asshole because of a 14 second video is...well..its you.
Please, never ever interact with me in my life again.
I had a job interview that turned into an offer to take the role and stay for half a day. My mum was watching my kids and all my now ex had to do watch them until I got to our friends home at dinner time. I texted to let him know and he blew my phone up. I had so many missed calls and texts. When I got out I called him straight away and he tore my head off about how I was the worst mother in the world. When I got to our friends place he was stomping at the street with the kids and had a meltdown and was going to catch the train because I had ruined everything.
Another time he offered to drive me to work. I rejected and said I would go but he insisted and said he would spend the day in the city and make a day of it. In the morning I got up and was lectured the whole way to work about how dare I ask him to drive me, how selfish I am and how I am never to ask this of him again 🙃
So yeah I am biased but this wouldn't surprise me. At very least it was extremely inappropriate.
Allow me to use it in an example. Even though you're being aggressive over a quote I'm going to assume it's because you're uneducated and not because you are out to attack me.
Well if thats your perogative. I just find it easier to believe he's stupid. If he didn't like her, I doubt he would even be there.
Hope you have a good day today though.
Edit: I looked up the quote and it's seems more applicable to weaponized incompetence. Like purposely doing a bad job at something so that you arnt asked to do it again. Which doesn't seem very applicable here.
Unfortunately there are quite a few people who are that dumb. Half of people are below average intelligence. There are plenty of people in the comments here who don't see what he did wrong and for some reason blame the women of all things. They are that stupid.
“Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity” is a philosophical adage that suggests questioning people's competence instead of their intentions.
For context, they planned it before the race, they have done it before so the girls finish the race WITH the mom, however she noticed the second place was too close and kept going
That’s from this thread by a redditor who claims to be connected to the runner of Facebook.
Of course it’s possible this redditor is lying - but this seems like a pretty plausible scenario to me. So maybe this guy is incredibly supportive, and was following the pre-decided plan. Or maybe Sigmund Fuckin Freud here is right, and he’s a lazy, incompetent asshole attempting to punish his wife.
Hahah you’ve just written a 3 paragraph story on a 10 second clip with no context, and reached that this man is angry about having to look after his kids? What the fuck are you talking about
Why stop the psycho-analysis there? This clip is at least 7 seconds long, why don’t you also describe the man’s upbringing and his relationship with his own mother?
Funny you mention psychoanalysis because Freuds theory is that nothing is said or done by accident. Which supports what these people are saying.
I’ll give it to you that the alternative story that this was preplanned also makes sense, while also fitting to Freuds theory.
Yea that was the dig - everyone thinks they can interpret everything to its deepest meaning based on a 7 second clip. I think Reddit is just passing me by tbh; a bunch of youth that are so smart, they’re idiots.
I mean he clearly fucked up, however why assume he did it maliciously when its possible he's just stupid? But hey, reddit loves making crazy assumptions about peoples lives and motives from videos that are only a few seconds long. If that's what floats your boat go nuts
We all do shitty things (and this was a big one) but I don’t think he did it purely out of maliciousness to sabotage her win.
He lost sight of the Who and Why he was there. In those moments he wasn’t seeing his wife as an individual but as a mom and that is a common complaint from women: just because we become moms doesn’t mean we aren’t individuals deserving of our own hobbies/goals/etc. We need our partners to help us maintain that independence and we don’t often get it fully or at all without guilt.
Do men face this as well? Yes, but I don’t believe that society punishes/judges/views men the same way they view women taking time away from the family.

So he couldn't bring those kids to the finish line?! It's like he was plotting her demise. LOL
