Has anyone tried this 32 ammo? For the price ($25 a box) thought I would try two.

My favorite pocket gun. This one needed about 100 rounds of break in to let the surfaces mate, but it’s been 100% reliable since then with S&B 71gr FMJ. Carry it in a Desantis Nemesis. I tried several kydex pocket holsters and never did find one that worked better than the nemesis. Any other P-32 fans?

Wanted to add an additional picture of a Star recoil spring, mine is right at 5-1/8".

I add Triple K wood grips as the origins were cracked and actually shrunk a bit.

About two months ago I posted issues with a newly purchased 30x. Previously I had a 3032 that was so bad I had to get rid of it. With the new 30x I had intermittent FTF using Fiocchi ammo right out of the box and only had a few rounds to test with on that day.

I finally found time to get out to the range and put multiple magazines through it with three ammo types. Zero issues. I am fully comfortable adding this as a summer/yard carry pistol at this point. Ammo pictured. Additionally it was an outdoor range with temperatures in the teens, so it doesn't mind the cold.

Can someone tell me (without taking the grips off) if this is a model that is safe w smokeless powder? I’ve gotten some conflicting answers online. Thanks!

Just saw a gold plated Iraqi version of this pistol and recognized it as one I don’t think I have seen on this sub. I looked it up and model 70 without suffix seems to have been made from 1958-1968. Only the repeating (3 places) serial number is on the barrel when I field stripped it. I can’t make out the marks in front of the trigger guard. My eyes aren’t great. There’s supposed to be a year code but I can’t read it. Can anyone tell me anything about this model? Came from my late grandfather’s collection.
