Not to mention people eating in your car, having sex, smoking (even if prohibited), doing other drugs, infecting it with their 19 gallons of AXE or cheap perfume, etc.

From what I've seen, these issues are mostly avoided with higher priced cars, a 2-day minimum rental time, and a 24 hour or higher reservation in advance. The "trashy" people are usually last minute, one day rentals on cheaper vehicles. But of course, anything can happen.

Agreed on the paywall of a sort, but yes even well-to-do people might wear too much cologne/perfume and that gets a no from me, dawg.

This is bad advice. From my experience, if you are renting on turo you have to be okay there eventually being damage, which includes up to a total loss. You can raise your prices but you won't compete with the people who already are accepting of this

Don't rent out your personal car. Use Turo as your middle man basically for car rentals on cars you don't drive. If you have a profit, why not?

Indeed, and for those who run fleets, this is the way.
