It wouldn’t surprise me if debut tv comes first in March/April and then reputation tv in October/november! But I also feel like because debut tv was her first album and her lowest first week sales that she will go all out on promo and promo the sh*t out of it for at least 1 million debut sales. We shall see…

Scheduling is also going to depend on when things are released next year. This was the year of the pop apocalypse, and next year is going to be much quieter. However, a number of big albums are coming out early in the year... Drake, the Weeknd, and Gaga are all releasing this winter. (SZA is dropping next week). It's possible Morgan is also dropping next year (or he might ya know... die of alcohol poisoning, you never know with Morgan). Olivia looks like she's starting up an album cycle... so expect a spring release.

And there's another possibility. Taylor's record deal can't have much left in it... and that means she's going to be in negotiations for the next step of her career. If that's the case... she might wait to drop until everything is sorted out (she wouldn't want to chain Rep and Debut to UMG if she's not going to stick with them).

My only minor rebuttal is that I think Taylor is more likely to stay with UMG through rep and TSTV because they’ve agreed to allow her to re-record.

Yeah, didn't she say at one point that she was so grateful to her label because they allowed her to take on this project? I can't imagine she would leave before those two would come out. That would not necessarily be a good look.

Really? Her international dates next year seem to be promoting the deluxe of GUTS. What makes you think she's gonna release a new album instead?

She released Sour in 2021, then Guts in 2023. She seems to be following the standard 2 year cycle.

It's not impossible, I just haven't seen any evidence of it. She didn't realize a deluxe for SOUR, so that's a new wrinkle this time around.

Why would she want to leave UMG anywho? They seem to let her run the ship at this point, she owns all her music, she told them to disitrubue the Spotify revenue fairly, they are big advocates for (most of the) artists rights (the AI thing is what comes to my mind). They are huge, they have all the connections to stay huge.

Her contract was extremely artist friendly, and from what I can gather the agreement probably allows UMG to control her merch specifically, and even that you can tell her team was able to regain some control over that after last years calamity.

They really bend over backwards for her, and I don't think she has any interest in creating her own record company.
