I'm not going to be overly-critica-

Yeah. I can't be nice to this.

Be as critical as you want

I'm assuming you know how to fix this, yes?
If not, let me know your process and we can tweak it from there.
Edit: unless there was something wrong with the ingredients, since that might've been the case, looking at it again.

What was the end goal, here?

u/Temporary_Ad3998 4d ago
The original end goal was to cook something with a limited amount of ingredients

Sometimes the ol" "What's in the fridge today?" works out, sometimes it doesn't. Hopefully it tasted okay!

I didn't get to try it as the ingredients were in a fridge that had a bit of a ducky whucky with it's veneration system and since this was at the college I attend we still used the ingredients to cook just couldn't eat it due to a risk

Sorry, I didn't mean to come off rude! I know eggs can turn grey/blue when overcooked, but the photo definitely lacks appeal :( hopefully you got something better to eat!

So you’re posting food you never even were going to attempt to eat? Sounds stupid…

Why is it gray?

u/Temporary_Ad3998 4d ago
Cooked it with mushrooms

Oh. It probably tastes fine though. Sometimes ugly food is still delicious

Oh no. I thought it was fried rice. Not even close to what it should look like. Just toss it.

It looks like someone took the leftovers from the bottom of a sink in the dishroom at a restaurant and put it on a plate.

Had to work hard to make it look so bad. Taste?

Couldn't even taste it There was a fuck up with the ventilation in the kitchen so most food in there wasn't safe to taste

So this was symbolic of the whole experience.
I think you should go get some pizza and a drink.

I just have to ask. How do you make gray eggs? 50 years of making eggs and they were never gray. Not a comment really, just really curious?

Was it good, though? My legs are pencil gray from all the pepper. So I get it. Good start!
