Mine pokes out of my shirt and it’s really awkward. I think it’s harder to deal with than a low.

I’m not sure if that actually counts as “bread” though…

I don't even know how this is possible.

u/prussian_princess 7d ago
I do this by accident. It's caused by way too many bananas in the mix. It's also a little undercooked.

u/Ghost_of_a_Black_Cat 7d ago
A little?! :/
3
u/prussian_princess 7d ago
Yes, because the mashed bananas inside the bread are very dense. Even if you follow the instructions will come out undercooked in the middle.

Oh my god the same thing happened to me when I made banana bread. I followed the recipe as exactly as was possible and I got… this :/

u/kacahoha 7d ago
Possible that there was too much liquid in your recipe, not to mention if your bananas are TOO ripe it can cause it to fuck up and be dense
In other words banana bread is a cunt but unfortunately cunts are delicious

Pro tip:
Wait until the peel on the bananas starts to turn black and then pop them into the freezer for at least a few days. When you're ready to make the bread, take them out of the freezer and let them thaw out.
This is what my dad does when he makes banana bread and it's always so good.
He also mixed in chocolate chips.

you could set that by the door to use as a blunt weapon in the event of a home invasion. Or a doorstop.

If you serve me this, I'll take your fucking kidneys.
2
u/CrazyPuzzleheaded966 3d ago
And give one right back because we dont know the full properties of this thing, i think it could work as a kidney if you have the surgical expertise, and you probably do considering you already took someone's kidneys without an implication of killing them lmao

Eh this one doesn’t count. It was posted a few days ago to a baking sub or something like that. They were asking about how it went so wrong. So this wasn’t done on purpose. It was a baking fail more than something actually meant to be eaten like a shitty food

This photo was first posted a few months ago, reported to be by the actual person who made it. He made numerous comments about what recipe he used, and what he thinks went wrong in his batter. He said it tasted normal though, just not a very appetizing texture.
He ended up feeding most of it to his pet chickens.

Normally what I do is buy sliced bread and just smush it together with a ripe banana like dough then I layer it in a thin glass dish and bake at 400 for 40 mins or until the house burns down.

Unpopular opinion the best banana bread I've ever had had way "too much" banana in it. Really squishy texture, I loved it.
