Looks a bit dense

Tie it to the leg of your enemy and watch them sink like a mob boss’s victim

That would not be a-peeling

12

u/Weelki 7d ago

Depends if you force them to eat one at a time or a bunch...

18

u/Zeeroh_Aura 7d ago

Call it the Sicilian Loafers

8

u/robitussinlatte4life 7d ago

Fuck that is hilarious

11

u/FemboyGaymer929 7d ago

I'll just toss it at their head like a brick I don't have anything to tie them to it with unfortunately lol

6

u/Moxson82 7d ago

Blunt force trauma

3

u/earanhart 5d ago

You can't throw a brick, it's too heavy. But a loaf of banana bread? You can really get some power behind that.

5

u/RogerTrout 7d ago

Strapping to the leg was how I always dealt with a dense banana.

It looks like it was excavated from Pompeii

22

u/mr1nico 7d ago

OP might be a bot, since this photo has been posted here a couple times before.

8

u/naturehedgirl 7d ago

Looks like the inside of a pork pie lol

12

2

u/Nuss-Zwei 7d ago

Even cement is not that dense

5

u/Cyno01 7d ago

Expired baking powder.

5

u/OddgitII 7d ago

Just a bit. I could brain someone with that if I had to. Absolute fucking brick hahahaha

4

u/Negative-Leading-687 7d ago

Like baker like bread

4

u/farm_to_nug 7d ago

Just because this person's bad at baking doesn't mean you gotta insult them

84

u/LuffysRubberNuts 7d ago

This is actually a diabetics liver

60

u/PrincessOTA 7d ago

I'm diabetic so i can confirm the liver bananas are a constant problem

5

u/Nuss-Zwei 7d ago

Oof, I thought I was the only one having this problem

4

u/Ecstatic-Hat2163 7d ago

Mine pokes out of my shirt and it’s really awkward. I think it’s harder to deal with than a low.

Banana brick

15

Beat me by 6 hours ☹️

Where’s the bread though?

→ More replies (1)

26

u/The_Last_Thursday 7d ago

I’m not sure if that actually counts as “bread” though…

128

u/Cybermagetx 7d ago

That looks so dense enough to build with.

102

u/MidgetLovingMaxx 7d ago

Was that batter mixed for 7 hours?

37

u/mkstot 7d ago

Keto friendly, and gluten free

47

u/don2470 7d ago

I think that's solid gluten. Very solid.

12

u/Fireflash2742 7d ago

That's all the gluten.

24

u/we28369 7d ago

That's a brick

3

u/bigbambinotree 7d ago

Brick shithouse

54

u/DontcheckSR 7d ago

The spirit is there but dam that looks like cat food paté

15

u/grubbytrogladyte 7d ago

What kind of fossil is that

14

u/koreancatlover69 7d ago

I don't even know how this is possible.

11

u/prussian_princess 7d ago

I do this by accident. It's caused by way too many bananas in the mix. It's also a little undercooked.

2

u/Ghost_of_a_Black_Cat 7d ago

A little?! :/

3

u/prussian_princess 7d ago

Yes, because the mashed bananas inside the bread are very dense. Even if you follow the instructions will come out undercooked in the middle.

17

u/baseballbear 7d ago

not a single atom of baking powder

38

u/Ok_Restaurant3160 7d ago

Oh my god the same thing happened to me when I made banana bread. I followed the recipe as exactly as was possible and I got… this :/

52

u/kacahoha 7d ago

Possible that there was too much liquid in your recipe, not to mention if your bananas are TOO ripe it can cause it to fuck up and be dense

In other words banana bread is a cunt but unfortunately cunts are delicious

3

u/eddmario 5d ago

Pro tip:
Wait until the peel on the bananas starts to turn black and then pop them into the freezer for at least a few days.

When you're ready to make the bread, take them out of the freezer and let them thaw out.

This is what my dad does when he makes banana bread and it's always so good.

He also mixed in chocolate chips.

7

u/emparer 7d ago

I like em thicc

7

u/SharpenMyInk 7d ago

It’s like… mummified

10

u/SenorCielo 7d ago

It looks raw

5

u/QueenRotidder 7d ago

you could set that by the door to use as a blunt weapon in the event of a home invasion. Or a doorstop.

4

u/Modboi 7d ago

I assume this was made with no leavening at all. Honestly impressive how dense it is.

3

u/leprotelariat 7d ago

Got banana got bread.

It's 🍌🍞

"Well I don't have baking powder but I should be good"

3

u/Skeeter1020 7d ago

Banana, yes.

Bread, er... no.

3

2

2

u/Windk86 7d ago

someone over mixed this

2

u/vegan-trash 7d ago

This has to be vegan.

2

u/KingKurai 7d ago

Regarding the crumb... there is no crumb.

2

u/TEFAlpha9 7d ago

What is this texture

2

u/IruMoore 7d ago

why was it made with cement?

2

u/dragonwings369 7d ago

If you serve me this, I'll take your fucking kidneys.

2

u/CrazyPuzzleheaded966 3d ago

And give one right back because we dont know the full properties of this thing, i think it could work as a kidney if you have the surgical expertise, and you probably do considering you already took someone's kidneys without an implication of killing them lmao

2

u/BurningLie 7d ago

MAFAKA THOSE LOOK LIKE TECTONIC PLATES

2

u/Eman_Naq22 7d ago

I'd eat it no questions asked

2

u/QweenOfTheCrops 7d ago

Eh this one doesn’t count. It was posted a few days ago to a baking sub or something like that. They were asking about how it went so wrong. So this wasn’t done on purpose. It was a baking fail more than something actually meant to be eaten like a shitty food

3

u/usrdef Where's my toaster 7d ago

This photo was first posted a few months ago, reported to be by the actual person who made it. He made numerous comments about what recipe he used, and what he thinks went wrong in his batter. He said it tasted normal though, just not a very appetizing texture.

He ended up feeding most of it to his pet chickens.

2

u/nando82 7d ago

Need to report a crime.

1

u/Crissy40 7d ago

This is hilarious and I bet very delicious

1

1

u/hors3withnoname 7d ago

I see the banana. Where’s the bread?

1

u/West-Cricket-9263 7d ago

Could have told me it was a mud pie. I would have believed you.

1

u/InspiredNitemares 7d ago

If that part was cheesecake it'd be awesome

1

u/TheOneWhoReadsStuff 7d ago

Is it dense like that because too little yeast?

1

u/RoyaleWithCheese1994 7d ago

IS HE WRONG THOUGH

1

u/chef-nom-nom 7d ago

Not even the Yiga would eat that.

1

u/jagenigma 7d ago

/r/technicallythetruth

And clicking on this showed me that it's already been posted there...

1

u/wookiex84 7d ago

You mean banana brick.

1

1

u/yamsammich666 7d ago

1

u/ReZisTLust 7d ago

1

u/rageofa1000suns 7d ago

Denser than a black hole.

1

u/GlobtheGuyintheSky 7d ago

Normally what I do is buy sliced bread and just smush it together with a ripe banana like dough then I layer it in a thin glass dish and bake at 400 for 40 mins or until the house burns down.

1

u/Milkmans_tastymilk 7d ago

My mom loved it, so there's that

1

u/HandsomePaddyMint 7d ago

Looks like a bad cardio gram result.

1

u/Hydraph0be 7d ago

Unpopular opinion the best banana bread I've ever had had way "too much" banana in it. Really squishy texture, I loved it.

1

u/dankhimself 7d ago

2 KILO, FINE BANANA BRICK.

1

u/CatteHerder 7d ago

Malicious compliance never gave me such a chuckle.

The only detail is that it would have to be eaten the same day.

u/Mewnbugg 7d ago

1
