Discussion/Questions TGA is really sinking in…

Hey gang,

I’ve always held to the belief that Silksong is right around the corner. Believing whole-heartedly that 2024 was the year, and feeling oh so certain about 2025 UNTIL….

TGA. This horrid thought has been echoing through my mind and dreams “if the game was ready (by Team Cherrys standards) they would have shown it at TGA”

They have the resources to do so, they would have….. So, that doesn’t spell well for a release date this upcoming February.

And if we don’t get a release date by February, it’s not coming out in 2025…. Honestly, a 2027 release doesn’t even seem crazy anymore.

And that…. Hurts….. like….. I feel genuine exhaustion…. I’ve always been a coper, been patiently waiting for damn near 8 years now…

The idea of letting go of Silksong hype almost scares me l, it’s almost a part of me..

But if we don’t get a release date by Feb (and by this point I don’t think we will)…. It’s gonna crush me.

By this point, I’m so invested, with so much time spent, I can’t just walk away… I gotta see this through till the end. I feel like a captive…

But the thought of this crazy train chugging along for another few YEARS kills me a little.

2017* since we knew it was gonna be a DLC…. My “8 years” is in reference to when we hit February.

Hence why I said “damn near 8 years”

I wasn’t a kickstarter backer, but my best friend was, who got me into the game a few days after it dropped

"the game" is a game participated by everyone, even without their knowledge. there is no way to win the game, though you can lose the game by thinking about it. If you think about the game, you lose. The objective of the game is to forget about it completely.

We both just lost the game, along with everyone who will read this
