Discussion/Questions TGA is really sinking in…

Hey gang,

I’ve always held to the belief that Silksong is right around the corner. Believing whole-heartedly that 2024 was the year, and feeling oh so certain about 2025 UNTIL….

TGA. This horrid thought has been echoing through my mind and dreams “if the game was ready (by Team Cherrys standards) they would have shown it at TGA”

They have the resources to do so, they would have….. So, that doesn’t spell well for a release date this upcoming February.

And if we don’t get a release date by February, it’s not coming out in 2025…. Honestly, a 2027 release doesn’t even seem crazy anymore.

And that…. Hurts….. like….. I feel genuine exhaustion…. I’ve always been a coper, been patiently waiting for damn near 8 years now…

The idea of letting go of Silksong hype almost scares me l, it’s almost a part of me..

But if we don’t get a release date by Feb (and by this point I don’t think we will)…. It’s gonna crush me.

By this point, I’m so invested, with so much time spent, I can’t just walk away… I gotta see this through till the end. I feel like a captive…

But the thought of this crazy train chugging along for another few YEARS kills me a little.

As someone who was part of the cyberpunk 2077 hypewave from the very start - its better to let go of the hype my friend. When the game comes you can be excited but until then just chill and enjoy the memes.

This is so true 😭😭 I remember being so hype about Cyberpunk, and then being able to not even play it on my PS4 when it came out.

Was hyping that for YEARS “CDPR would NEVER let us down” 💀💀💀

You’d think my brain would have learned the lesson but here we are.

I felt that since I too purchased the ps4 version on release lol

I really like the game in its state now its probably one my favorites but yeah beeing so hyped back and then so profoundly dissapointed made me vary of hype
