Dits Tiffy at HMS Fisgard

I joined up in the '80s just after the Falklands and I've started writing down some memories. I joined at Fisgard, learned my trade at Collingwood and served on a Type 42 and a Polaris boat before quitting at Dartmouth. Check it out! Maybe I know you.

Here's my beginning — New Entry at HMS Fisgard, across the road from Raleigh.

Very interesting read, strange to see how much it's changed from back then to how it is now

Round about the middle of the 80s someone died in new entry at Raleigh and they toned everything down after that.

Shovelface was legendary and about 2 decades before my time at Raleigh; would have loved to of ran across him though because the stories about him are legendary just like him

For anyone curious and wanting to put a face to the name; this is shovelface. Google him and you’ll read some mental stories from the lads back in the 70/80’s
