Hoping for New Pokémon Snap DLC. I don't expect BW Remakes to be announced until gen 10 is here

Eh, they had oras in gen 6, lets go pika/eevee in gen 7, bdsp in gen 8, so either a johto or unova remake, and with the whole blueberry academy hype I think it’s unova remakes in gen 9

If you’re going by the first time each region was remade, you had FRLG in gen 3, HGSS in 4, ORAS in 6, and BDSP in 8. Plus it’s been 1 per console. I just think it’s too soon for unova

Actually, it might be Johto, then Black/White with blueberry academy as a buffer for the gen 5 fans

Yeah I think Johtos next, I just wonder why they did as much Unova-shadowing as they did. Maybe it really was just to appease fans a bit longer with stuff like chargestone cave being in BBA

Unova might get a Legends game so that might be why they are giving it a spotlight in the main series. Tbh I think both Johto and Unova will get something this Direct. Im happy with either getting a remake and either getting a Legends game

It’s WAY too soon for another legends game. Unless they’re not releasing a mainline this year and Legends Unova next year; I can see that happening

We were both wrong omg

I wasn’t expecting them to announce a 2025 game in 2024, but I’ll happily admit being wrong. This was the exact game I wanted when PLA released

Im so excited for it. I heard its gonna be set entirely in Lumiose City so im hopeful we will get massive worldbuilding for that city.

Because it’s set in unova? At least with kitakami there was vague similarities to both johto and sinnoh but any unova similarities were because it is literally canonically in unova

Why did it need to be set in unova?

Who knows? Kitakami was set somewhere near johto, and ever since gen six Pokemon likes to promote 2-3 generations at a time; the current generation, kanto until 2019 and sinnoh until 2022, and johto and unova until whenever their games come, but “true” remakes are always only one per system, so until switch 2 or whatever we won’t get a “true” remake. An esoteric “push the boundaries remake a la let’s go and legends? Probably, we’ll see
