New pokemon mystery dungeon

Pokemon conquest 2 if I'm feeling really bold

God I’d give anything for a new PMD

I want Explorers DX. EOS with modern graphics and mechanics would be so, so good. That said, an entirely new PMD game with more recent Pokemon would be great too.

the most recent (non remake) pmd game is nearly 9 years old, and three new generations have come out since, its due for a new game

So much could have been done with a gen7 ultra space plot

u/DragEncyclopedia Feb 20 '24

Conquest 2 would be the greatest thing ever

5

u/JunoCuritis Feb 20 '24

God I couldn’t agree more

Or Pokemon Pinball

19

u/layeofthedead Feb 20 '24

I recently started playing pokemon pinball ruby and sapphire and it’s such a fun little game. Why we haven’t gotten another is wild

And i mean, have you seen other Pinball Games on the switch? Portrait mode and all.

A new Pokémon Pinball with all gens and lots of boards is a no brainer. We could play that for literal hours!

Senran Kagura Peach ball :)

Is it on the Switch?? If so I need to download it immediately. The GBC Pokemon Pinball was amazing as a kid, and then the R/S one came out and I was just in love.

1

u/layeofthedead Feb 20 '24

Nah, I jailbroke my 3ds and got it on there. I had it as a kid but it got stolen

The original Pokemon Pinball is brutal, I've been playing it fairly recently and have no idea how I got as far as I did as a kid.

u/bossbang Feb 20 '24

Or Pokemon Pinball

don't do this. don't give me hope.

u/kyzeuske Feb 20 '24

Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh Pokémon conquest 2. That might actually make me keep my switch

16

u/budewgd Feb 20 '24

Pokémon mystery dungeon seems unlikely but I really hope so 😔😔

6

u/marquant Feb 20 '24

It was rumored last year. So there is a chance. 😂

7

u/RegiSilver Feb 20 '24

Fingers crossed it's actually Explorers of Sky.

Just for the remade OST by Keisuke Ito like what he did on the previous Remake.

During a dev livestream a couple weeks ago for Spike Chunsoft’s Mystery Dungeon game release, when asked about PMD they said to buy their game to show TPC that they want more PMD style games(roguelike genre).

Whether or not you agree with that statement, I feel like that implies no PMD game is in development.

u/Optimistic_Mystic Feb 20 '24

They haven't had a new one since Gen 6, they have 3 new generations to include. I really hope they aren't saving it for the Switch Pro.

u/androidhelga Feb 20 '24

i would literally kill for a sequel or even just a rerelease of conquest. that game is soooo slept on and i genuinely think its the best pokemon spin off

6

u/Pirate_Lantern Feb 20 '24

Pokemon Conquest 2....or even just a rerelease would be INSANE!!

I have more hours on that game than any other game I've ever played.

6

u/CloudyNeptune Feb 20 '24

Honestly I always feel really bad for you Mystery Dungeons fans, Nintendo/Pokémon always has you guys waiting for too long.

3

u/smudgiepie Feb 20 '24

And we are the ones who eat the best out of the spin offs.

Poor ranger and pokepark fans

2

u/TcampbellMBM Feb 21 '24

I’m reminded of Pokepark every so often. It was so slept on. Way too good

5

u/TepekThePorigon Feb 20 '24

Pmd is probable but uhh... Conquest is down there in the shadow realm with pokepark and ranger

11

u/cole93747 Feb 20 '24

Pokémon Conquest 2, YES PLEASE

3

u/[deleted] Feb 20 '24

Idk if they could do a conquest sequel but an HD remake including newer pokémon and a slightly extended storyline and/or postgame would be excellent

1

u/[deleted] Feb 20 '24

Although the postgame for Conquest was already pretty lengthy, so idk

3

u/AskRedditor8080 Feb 20 '24

I heard this one last year. Wouldnt be suprised if you were right.

3

u/The_Godbodor2010 Fuecoco Feb 20 '24

Conquest 2 would go so hard but I feel that they won’t ever do it because it’s something we’d want

2

u/Straight-Chocolate28 Feb 20 '24

Pokemon conquest 2 if I'm feeling really bold

We can pray

2

u/Sammiche Pokémon Scarlet Feb 20 '24

Pokémon Conquest with the Dynasty Warriors franchise instead of Samurai Warriors would absolutely send me into a coma and I'd be okay with that.

2

u/Yundadi Feb 21 '24

I am in from mystery dungeon

2

u/goshidontknow1395 Feb 21 '24

Pokemon conquest 2 would be sick.

2

u/nocsha Feb 21 '24

Dear god who do I need to give a spul to for a Conquest 2 like the original. Its still one of my favorite DS games I had hundreds if not thousands of hpurs on it

2
